That's what gets me, in the beginning they showed the dragon emperor as someone who is protecting his own clan, but when he possess Fengming why does he suddenly act like he's the ultimate evil demon.

Exactly, the way it's going right now, I think even his uncle would think he is a traitor.

I watch those trailers at insta @xukaidrama but it was more a preview of a crucial scenes rather than a trailer.

I think the reason he didn't connect those dots is because he is in denial, brainwashed after the memory lost, the clan that he was told since he can remember is evil is actually his species, no way. He believes his dad and his masters would say something to him at least, little did he know they has been lying to him. Even when his master hold his hand down to seal the dragon emperor he was puzzled, it's the first wall breaking down basically.

What I don't understand is why the dragon emperor need to kill those students. He is Li Xuan's uncle. Why did he act like a psychopath demonds. Big loophole there.

Xu Kai is daring to take on this type of drama again because not everyone can deliver a slapstick comedy. and he delivers it well, I was laughing hard on some scenes that I won't spoiled. The production is pretty cheap but the acting make up for it.

For anyone who likes to see Xu Kai all cool, serious and pretty boy, this drama is not for you because he sure didn't care if he looks ugly XD

If Yanxi is 20% then Ruyi is 0%, I'm still trying to find reason why Ruyi decided to have a plot where ALL future empress and concubines line up for Qianlong to chose who to be wife and who to be concubine on the same day because according to history Fuca and Qianlong married when they were 15 and 16 and according to history age gap, at that time Ruyi is supposed to be 9 years old...

This show has excellent acting and plot so far. Love the focus on profession storyline as well.

Second paragraph is me trying to be civil and direct back conversation to drama quality. I don't know how you can interpret that as me trying to convince you. A discussion can be constructive even from a building up from negative points. No need for cursing or accusation. Well well, et's just simply accuse "shall we? There are many dramas that are not good back in 90s as well not everything is good, especially with lack of technology it's downright cringey for xiaxia genre, which applies to newer dramas as well, there are good ones and there are bad ones, just that because I followed cdrama since 90s comparison can be seen on the quality of acting. No nostalgia there, simply quality. There are good young actors that I've seen in recent dramas, but definitely not in those dramas I mentioned.
