Title Love's Coming Spoiler
Had forgotten about this one until I watched again. Very very very simple. Not necessarily believable in any regard but who cares. Nai is so handsome and they give his character some nice vulnerability. Gump warms your heart. Great friends. So... Nai kisses Gump to cure his hiccups and we jump cut to the car ride. Really? Not even a fake explanation? No, “it was just to cure you” convo? Not even a real moment where they confront what has happened? That’s the biggest misstep for me. Not sure a hug is enough to solve all the problems at the end but who cares. But did I understand it right... Soda doesn’t really want to reunite, it’s all a plot to get Gump and Nai together? That’s far fetched. Still I really enjoyed this sweet and very innocent movie.

It could happen, I suspect there is even a philipino bl drama that really paid for a lot of real comments so just…
That's kinda the norm these days. Pay for views.

It wasn't linear at all! Just as with Hello Stranger sometime no kiss nor sex is just the right way to go. James,…
Ah ok. I agree. He does seem very confident.

Alright, presented by Blued, so hoping the plot and production would be nice. Anyone else who felt that the teaser…
Aren’t ALL BL series reminiscent of other BL series?

You think James is masculine? He seems very fem to me. Not that I have a problem with it.

Title Why Love Why Spoiler
A rather disappointing, let down for a finale. I enjoyed parts of the series. Benjo was very strong. But overall it was too preachy with its long monologues that didn’t really cover any new ground. I was surprised that the boys seem to be fully accepting of their sexuality but did not even attempt to move forward and we ended with then split. Obviously 2 years later Benjo is out (at least with that hair and those glasses I assume), so it will be interesting to see what issues they tackle in S2. All in all, some nice moments marred by a very theatrical style.

Yes some sweet moments really do make you forget all the rest!

Title Friend Forever Spoiler
Ahhhhhhhhhhh! This series is actually 4-6 episodes. If you remove the 30 second staring contests between each line, most of the episodes would be about 5 mins long. Honestly, Directors... meaningful glances can be quite effective in the right moments but not after every line. Plus your actors look so awkward. You can tell they don't know what to do and often times they start to break the stare, until they realize they have to continue (I'm sure someone is yelling at them off-screen. "Stare at him longer, dammit!"). One time I counted 12 edits to different angles of their faces before one of them answers the others' question.

A gorgeous cast (all 25 of them), some decent acting, but preposterous subplots (kicked out of music club for someone leaving you a love note, school charters being randomly rewritten, a school with 5 people in the music club but somehow none of them are entered into the music competition... which never happens), 2 main couples that seem to be from entirely different series (even the film quality seems different), REALLY POOR editing... like baffling at times, the pacing is glacial, an annoying score (folks, when you say a guy is the best guitarist that has a style unlike any other, please please please let him be able to play guitar... even a little bit) .

What happened to Khunpon? Why was he so interested in Oil but then just disappeared? Then suddenly shows up out of nowhere (to do a report that Oil says he is NOT doing with Khunpon). What happened to Dad and Half-Bro? Bro lives in the house but only shows up randomly, and then they play music as if he's Norman Bates in PSYCHO. Is Dad in a coma? Because he stares off into space half the time and answers as if he's drugged. Is the adorable (yet still creepy) stalker even necessary? Wait... Tin has a girlfriend? Why doesn't she start texting until Ep 12?

Episodes 10 and 11 and 12 are painful. Random scenes just thrown together with zero plot progression. Tin turns into a creepy perv for a moment. I know this is fantasy, but what teenage boy would dare get naked in front of the boy he loves. His... interest is gonna be obvious. Writers... destroy this trope!

The subtitles... thank you for them, but wow. My favorite was "la la la la la la..."

Wasted potential. In the hands of a decent writer and director, this could have been so much better. And yet, I watched it all. Never again, though.

I’m giving up on this one. I tried (twice) but the pacing, the repetitive dialogue and scenes, the lack of any development... plus Joey is one of the most boring characters in any BL. And I’m sorry they could only afford 15 seconds of music which they play over every scene along with the one sound effect.

Ivan is so cute and playing his psycho well. I wish him well.

Dramas dealing with infidelity are often ostracized. Same happened with this drama. Its not as bad as its said…
Finding a way to deal with, cope and recover from challenges shows the strength and commitment of a true, loving relationship. Every BL fan should HOPE for a cheating storyline, so they can see the strength of their "ships" love. It's certainly a much stronger test of your relationship then say... getting jealous because you saw your BF "talking" with a girl.

I just finished together with me and I love it. Should I watch this? because I'm hesitating since it has bad reviews.
It's nowhere near as good as the first season. It's an easy one to skip over.
WHO PLAYS JAY? He was very handsome.

Season 1 had many flaws, but I still enjoyed it. But this felt like the writers forgot who their characters were and the actors lost their charm and charisma. Yiwha is not the same character, Farm is not the same character, even Fai is not the same. I know it's a year later, but all the characteristics that made me fall in love with them seem to have disappeared. They also seem to have lost their chemistry as a group. Their friendship was so real and palpable in S1, but here it feels like they are all standing around a sitcom set FORCED to hang out with each other. And the direction has also gotten worse. Lots more standing around waiting for the slow fade out, or glaring off screen with a malevolent look to indicate the problems you're gonna cause.

I did not understand how Knock could be so mad about Korn not coming out to his parents when he was not out himself. He was far too childish considering he was in the same situation. And naturally (this being BL), very little real discussions about this. All surface level.

I don't mind the cheating stories. That happens in real life and SOMETIMES you can actually grow and work through it. But boy does it take a lot of work. None of which is shown here. I also wish that there were 2 different story lines, instead of "cheating with a co-worker". You'd think the writers could have come up with 2 different stories for such different characters.

And while I know that polyamorous couples exist, maybe wait until the world accepts gays before we start trying to get them to accept open relationships. What bothered me most about that story line was all the lying, manipulating, trickery, revenge. I understand that Farm is maybe 21 years old and might be misguided by Bright is an adult. He should know how to make a relationship work. The most mature person in their relationship was the little kid. Pathetic.

Another thing that bothered me was Pete. Let's make the only real villain in the series a lecherous gay man. Great. Thanks. So gays can't be monogamous, can't help but cheat, harass co-coworkers... do the writers even like gay people? From all their preachy moments - which are truly unbearable - you would think they do, but from the actions and characters, I would say they don't.

A real disappointment. Despite the obvious chemistry of the leads, I would not recommend this. Stick to S1 and all its flaws. No need to compound them with this.

I think I'm gonna have to drop this one. I don't really like any of the characters, aside from Chon, his Mom and his BFF Pang. Hate Ton. Really mad at Ai and Ni. I can't believe anyone likes Miriam (what a leech). Of course the Dad goes without saying. And I'm feeling no real chemistry between the leads. They went too far in the name of comedy and created a world that I despise. I know homophobia still exists, but if you really want to break down those walls, this comedy is not gonna help in any way. Bye bye Chon. Maybe I'll visit you when you're 24 and have some self esteem and a nicer boyfriend.

Mostly great. Loved the issues, the acting, the setting. Loved all of the characters. Felt like the last episode was VERY rushed. 2 years have gone by in a flash. Too many major plot points. Too many people sick or worse. Then the surprises and mysticism pop up. Not sure how this beautifully produced gem fell apart like that. But still heartwarming (and heartbreaking), important (for the issues) and DAMN if Nut is not the most gorgeous, charming, and very strong actor. A real star.

Right?! When I heard that I had to rewind to make sure I heard it correctly. Like what??? 22 year olds raising…
My ex was 27 when he adopted two 10 year old boys, so it's not outside the realm of possibility. And let's face it... straight people start having babies in their teens, why can't two gay guys?

Well, I'm glad that's over with. I found Ep 13 even more frustrating than many other eps in the series. Maybe I didn't focus on the poor direction until now, but it really got on my nerves here. While none of the actors, except Kao seemed up to the task, I actually blame it on the director. I can't believe this many were bad unless they were told to play things this way. How many times can someone just say your name without explaining what they are thinking and you stare at them helplessly (looking around helplessly because the director hasn't told you what to do). Ugh.

Let's run away. First stop... I'm so tired and frustrated. Should we give up?

And the brilliant MARKETING presentation was "talk to locals". Ummm.

I'd watch Kao do anything. He's adorable. Can't wait for his star turn.
