Just caught up on latest 3 eps. Some preachy, repetitive dialogue. Simon was pretty harsh and seems to think you must be a virgin to get married but hey, gay is ok. Strange dichotomy. Felt like some scenes were in the wrong place, dialogue that should have happened after came before etc. didn’t like the quick conversion from David. Felt forced and convenient. And the way Simon explained that “you don’t have to be gay” wasn’t expressed very well or in a way that would really change someone’s mind. It felt like he was just saying it to get laid. And after David is so uptight about sex, they jump right in... ummm ok. Still, I’m intrigued to see where this ends.
Anyone else think Simon is a figure of his imagination?
This was fine. Not bad, not good. A bit too light on everything for my tastes. Not enough character nor conflict. I love naming the fish and what that means in the story. Neung is strong. He should get more roles. But all in all, the only reason I would recommend it is because it's 2 episodes and over before you realize it.
There wont be official english subs for about a month from now. They said 30 days. That's frustrating because…
Dubbing houses will not start on a project until it is completed. And it usually takes 7 days to translate an episode. So making us wait 3 more weeks isn't realy that bad.
Giving up on this one. Everything is too forced. The dialogue is so pretentious. No one talks like this. I realize this is supposed to be "art", not real life, but it's too preposterous to get beyond. WIN is very handsome and I'm sure he has a good career. Too bad he got saddled with this piece of ...
A cute little short film. Off is always best at these silly, shallow characters where he is not required to really act, but just be himself. Gun is kinda wasted, but they obviously want the two of them together. An ok 20 minutes, but no real reason to watch this unless you're a super fan of the boys.
This was straightforward little vacation romance. Nothing great nor awful. Good performances. I liked Dale and Genesis was the perfect actor for that role. But nothing that exciting either. A fine quick binge.
My main problem with the Influencers is that they aren’t doing any influencing. Yes they post a couple of vlogs.…
What I meant was... them being influencers has too little to do with their story. Why title a series influencers when it could have been “My Christmas Romance”.
This was just okay. A bit too simplistic for me. Too much unresolved. Doesn’t really spark any questions or answers. Funniest line was Mom saying her lottery was actually helping the family.
What Filipino having with influencers all the time, there is no other jobs there?! every drama they have it's…

As for school... yes it’s tiresome but where else can you set a series about teen boys? School takes up a lot of their time.
So far this is okay. Love the look into provincial life. But do people honestly act this way? Move to Manila without any prep or research? No job, no place to stay, only one acquaintance who hasn’t been too good to you this far as your only contact? Ignoring people when they come visit, treating friends like strangers, talking about people right in front of them??? I don’t know anyone who would do any of these things. I know BL is fantasy but this is outrageous. Brendalynne needs to stop improvising and talking to herself when no one is around.
Agree with the creepy, over the top comments. Not making a lot of sense so far. Will be interesting to see if they follow up on the premise, "Does love make you a better person?" Not excited about this one. Even the eye candy feels creepily gratuitous.
Okay. Not bad, not great. Sweet and simple. More bromance than anything, with the hint of something possible if there were a sequel (which there is not, as far as I know). I didn't see the first twist coming (staying over to be closer to a girl), so that was a nice surprise. Aek is not a lovable character (very selfish and manipulative when it's clearly not appreciated), but thankfully this is light enough fluff so that it's not too problematic. Toey is kinda bland. Not sure if Mike is supposed to be cheering them on, or causing them problems. The social media angle, fake celebrity, endorsements, shaming was interesting and relevant. Would love a deeper dive into that in some other series. The graphic novel elements were too long, although I did like how they evolved. All in all, a decent movie for a mindless bromantic story.
Ok, so the workplace sexual harassment isn't an issue??? "I'm uncomfortable", "Get used to it." Ohm is a predator. A beautiful, buff predator. Wan starts the whole love story, though. It's his interest in Ohm that propels the story. He could have shut it down. It's obvious the relationship with Tar was in trouble all along - or at least vulnerable. This is a real life story. This is how relationships fall apart (or don't). No easy answers or pure villains. I'm not sure what Tar did that was so unforgiveable, or at least worse than falling in love with someone else like Wan did. All in all it was well done, thought-provoking movie with complex characters and some good performances.- It's funny to see Gun here, playing a college graduate, when 6 years later he's still in college in 2Gether. I prefer him here without the excessive affectation.
More montage than story. I know most BL uses the jealous rival trope but I didn’t understand here. They were clearly on vacation together for one purpose... they liked each other. I never believed the other love interests had a shot so it made their story inconsequential. Still sweet and cute like the first. Adorable awkward blushes made me smile. Felt like it took a long time to move so little forward in the relationship. Perhaps more true to life than the fairy tale BL were used to in that regard. I won’t watch again nor do I need to watch the special.
A meet cute vacation fling with potential for more. Handsome and charismatic actors required to very little other than look adorable Beautiful scenery but shot in a way that makes this feel like a promo for the resort and the story is just filler in between promo footage. Not a lot happens but it’s all sweet and cute and makes you feel warm and happy.
