I just binged the first 5 eps and I am all in. This is the sweetest, most tender story EVER. I am in love with this series. I already don't want it to end.

I’m only on Ep 10 cause I have to wait for the translation. Sorry to comment so late in the game.

Did they fire the editor after Ep 9, because 10 was a mess. No transitions to new scenes, odd jarring cuts from the hospital to Itts room. That horrible split screen crying, which looked like it was filmed with 2 different cameras. We jump from “insert cliche BL moment” to “insert another cliche BL moment” with nothing in between. I know most folks are here to swoon over two (or four) boys in their cliche moments, but try to have some artistry, please.

I’m tired of this fake “you hate me” story. He stalks you constantly. He volunteers you to be campus Moon. He holds your hand while camping in a tent. He seemingly has changed majors because instead of taking engineering classes he’s with you in your classes. When does he ever display hatred? It’s obvious he likes you. Yes he does things to push you out if your comfort zone. I’m not a fan of this story either. But it’s not hatred.

Agree with all the other comments. “He’s the light of my life” came from out of nowhere. We all knew it, cause this is BL, but it would have been nice for the creators to SHOW it.

I don’t hate this show but I hate missed potential and there’s a lot of that here.

Once again Solo shows his true self.... jealous of a little orphan boy who just lost his adopted mother... then uses his influence to get a new teacher, just so Gui will have to go back to the city with him... how do they expect us to like this character??? Yes, he has a nice moment when he tells the boy how to talk to Big Mama, but overall he's just a d*ck.

I thought the acting was getting better but these last 2 eps seem to have gone backwards.

I was with my first BF for almost a year before I came out to my parents. But with 8 episodes, I guess you gotta fast forward through life to get to the dramatic moments.

That makes me so sad.

I will rewatch # 8 again and again... and always skip the last episode.

Agree. Agree. Agree. Mom's initial reaction was horrible. But grief cannot be measured, nor should it be judged. My cousin still posts 5 times a week about her loss... 9 years ago. My best friend still can't get over her loss 8 years ago, ranging from violent anger to crying fits of depression. And yes, plenty of alcohol. So some people never get over the death of a loved one.

And Sandee... ARGH! Smack the ho'. But then again... she's 16 and in love with Ken. Teenagers make mistakes all the time. Forgive her... eventually. Maybe not as quickly as Ken did. But then again... he's dead. You probably don't hang onto your negativity once you pass over.

But none of these misguided characters make me hate this series. They make me hate the homophobia that still exists in today's world and the fact that some kids still live with these issues weighing on them.

Remember, it's the network - not the creators - who chose which BL to make the first nationwide primetime series. The straight males running the network could have chosen a gay-positive series and message. There are plenty of them in the Pinoy universe already. But this is what the ultra-conservative (read: Christian) management was comfortable with. I'm not saying it's right. But don't blame the creators for anything except the content itself, not the "groundbreaking" status it has received.

And yes, the message that homophobia destroys lives HAS been done many times before. And yet look at the world we live in and the homophobia that still exists. The message is still necessary.

Yeah, I should not have mentioned the acting. It is some of the strongest in BL, even with some weak spots. That's not my main objection to this season.

When faced with any challenge the job of a filmmaker is to figure out creative solutions to said challenge. Covid should have ZERO effect on the writing, so a bad script is a bad script no matter the level of the plague. How Covid effects the direction, I'm unclear about that as well. Once you're on set you either make good choices or not. Once you're on set, you either can act, or you can't. If Covid is the reason this is sub-par... then wait a few months. Obviously the super fans will watch no matter when it comes out.

What's worse, for me, is that these serious issues NEED to be examined in depth and after some serious research. Bringing up rape and then casually dropping it is potentially harmful. If you're not going to do justice to the issues, then don't include them. Rape, PTSD, etc are not convenient storylines so you can promote sympathy for your bland BL characters.
