Am I the only one who thought The Eighth Sense was just meh? I gave it 7/10. The drama was so forced. I can totally…
People love the T8S because of the characters, the storyline, the acting, the chemistry, the passion, skinship etc It's not a perfect bl but it was captivating.
Whoever is coming to comments to check other's opinion and watch the show based on them... please don't do that..…
So direct kisses is now soft porn? The actors in this drama want to profit from the bl movement without going all out. Which straight drama does hidden kisses? The acting was almost homophobic. It was more like a friendship drama than a bl.
Meh ending!! Do these characters have water instead of blood running through their veins?. Gosh. They act like best friends rather than a couple in a romantic relationship. Thank God for Bls like Eight Sense and Semantic error.
To add to your theory, he also had unlimited access to the matchboxes since they were from his girlfriend's teahouse.…
Good point. Everything points to the male lead's father. Thought i was the only some suspecting him but majority of the comments also find him suspicious. The clues are more obvious that i thought.
Yes, I think so too. The other thing that is stuck in my memory is when the father said that he hates when somebody…
You have made a very good point. I suspected the male lead's father immediately he found the match box. The way he kept on repeating the question "Who are you?". It appeared to me like a killer who is surprised to find his calling card in the hands of an unknown variable. An the questions he was asking his father. Just after the father says the male lead saves people, someone is kidnapped. I think the killer (male lead's father) is testing the Hero.
I think maybe the father is the killer and the reason that the mom "abandoned" her son is actually because he…
Oh my gosh. I made a comment on this before seeing yours. This was exactly my thinking while watching. He is the most logical suspect at this stage. I doubt he was in America as claimed. And the mother probably abandoned the son cos she discovered she gave birth to a serial killers baby. It probably messed with her mind.
I just binged watched all the episodes today and i LOVE this drama. Can't wait for next episodes.
I want to make a prediction. The culprit is the male lead's father. He probably was not in America but hiding somewhere in the village to commit those crimes.
The reason why Hae Jun's mother left was probably because she discovered she gave birth to the child of a serial killer.
Also, those beady eyes of his look crazy.
Immediately after Hae Jun's grandfather says Hae Jun saves people, Soon Ae is kidnapped. Coincidence?? or is the killer testing the Hero?!
I am 90% sure male lead's father is the culprit.
EPISODE 9 ENDING
God!! I was crying my eyes out but i kept rewinding the scene. The acting, the lighting and backdrop, the background song, the heart rending tears of Bek Hee and the silent tears of his daughter and then the lines. Oh my goodness! So emotional 😭 "I don't what to do. I am just sitting here like a fool. Here, on your darkest night, i am"
ROMANCE
I love that it's light romance. I am not a fan of romance so this drama is perfect. I love the slow burn and more focus on friendship.
Just re-watched episode 8 of Season 1 where Yeon broke Rang's heart by saying "Sorry i saved you after your human mother abandoned you". I know he was angry with Rang but that was a low blow cos he knew how much Rang idolised him. Rang was teary eyed in that scene😢 I felt like entering into the screen and comforting him.
I am glad this Season 2 Yeon is showing Rang how much he loves him.
I also agree that portraying Japan as evil every single chance they get is kind of tedious at this point, while…
They are portraying the Japanese invaders/colonisers in the drama as evil not Japan. I don't see any sensible South Korean hating Japan cos of this drama.
I knew he was going to be a bad guy...Santori or whatever his name is. They kept showing him on ep 9 and then…
I agree. That scene of LY hugging LR suggests Mermaid is either dead or is kidnapped. I knew that Santori guy was sus from the get go. I found it strange he initially survived and then he kept putting LR and others in danger.
