This drama isn't typical since it focuses on two main couples equally , not just one. Referring to the first main couple or second main couple is just used by watchers for a better description of 2 couples . If you are here only Esther and ZLH you may be disappointed.

I rarely hear that sb didn’t like their chemistry. It sounds to me like you dont like either of the leads, or at least one of them, which affected your sense of their chemistry. I had a similar experience with the actress from *Love Like the Galaxy*. I just dont connect with her, and ended up dropping all of her dramas.
That was the most dragging drama I’ve seen lately. I came to the point, where I was watching only for the main leads, as other characters aren’t enough charismatic plus the plot is too repetitive like in other dramas . Unfortunately the main leads were rarely together :( so I guess it’s time to quit. Possible that will get more intriguing later and will be other characters developing in further episodes, however I think 25 episodes are enough to give a drama a chance. The best thing about this dramas is Ml, the Fl’ acting isn’t appealing enough for my taste. I can’t rate it more than⭐️ 5/10

Why hate? RC and Lu Yu Xiao had better chemistry for the majority of watchers , and people were just expressing their honest opinions. Plus, why should the director be criticized?~ The actors were outstanding and exceeded everyone’s expectations in their performances, that’s why they are both getting main roles now in big productions and more and more popularity- everything thanks to their excellent performance in this drama .

Now, I'm exploring classics because I can’t watch anything from this year. Today's actors are getting younger and younger, with baby faces and voices that just aren't believable as wise kings, Queens, , heroes, or saviors of the world, even in fantasy genres as mostly this kind of wisdom is achieved from years of experience in life . . Even the best script can be ruined with a wrong choice of actors ., what is the case in most dramas this year for me.
And It's so sad that such outstanding and charismatic actors like ~~~JEREMY TSUI ~~~are forced to retire because there are no decent roles for him 😭😭😭
