I started watching it and didn't find the first episode particularly exciting and the two main leads didn't give me any exciting feelings either and I need that at least from a leading actor in a romantic drama. Everything was kind of lackluster and from the beginning clear how it ends, no excitement anymore , the trailer told me already the whole story! … except for beautiful countryside settings !😍 Dropped without rating.

The next historical drama I am watching is " The legend of Scheng li" but I'll try to stay away from their comment section as the fl has too many fans as well yet more haters...Too many comments about a drama and and especially about actors and their private lives just distract me too much.
The actress voice and appearance can be misleading. The Fl’s character is great and strong in the drama ! . Please give this drama a chance! It scared me how shallow we can be after reading the comments after the drama started ! The actress hasn't even had a chance to show what she is capable of, and she was attacked with hatred by so many! The actress is young and doesn't deserve so many negative comments because of her appearance and that voice they gave her.
In real life, the visuals of people who love each other often don't match, why are we then so critical of looks when watching dramas. ? After all, the both actors are adults! . I myself am not innocent when it comes to this issue when I think of previous dramas of similar actresses and not giving a chance :(Mea Culpa as well, time to rethink;)
Jeremy’s performance at the end of ep 15 is absolutely mesmerizing! Actually he doesn’t have to say anything, his face alone tell stories! Truly , he is the king of ancient dramas!
