Seriously, till now, this drama is such a masterpiece. I really want to appreciate the writer, they must be a…
The writing truly is exquisite - a great example of a "rom com" that gives equal time to comedy and romance. And not a moment is wasted on useless filler. Every scene drives the story. Just wonderful!
It's like we're missing entire episodes, including the all-important one where they fell in love. All of a sudden they're holding hands and kissing. It's confusing.
If Yeong Woo is going to wake up in Ki Jin's bed can we please see what happened to get him there?
I've seen better story development in 5-minute music videos.
Your point about Wayu having zero agency is spot-on. That's exactly the problem. It explains why I read all the comments on here about how great Wayu is and how beautiful his relationship with Thanu is and I just can't relate.
I'm glad he's not crying all the time like last season. Maybe that counts as character growth. :)
Sab is and will forever remain my favorite character lol Idk I just love him so much, he's such a BAB. I'm still…
I love your assessment of the series.
I agree ... Sab is an unsung hero. I hope he gets a man of his own. That confrontation with Sandee sets up a potential "enemies to lovers" storyline that would be so sweet, but I'm thinking it won't happen. But Sab deserves someone of his own.
So far, this season has utilized Mark and Kit in a way that I really like .. I just hope they don't muck it up later.
They are an active presence in each episode, and it's all done without a stupid jealousy plot or a crazy misunderstanding -- which just about any other series would resort to. The fluff factor is pitched just right. I hope the later episodes won't spoil this with silly dramatics.
I'm all about evil Sandee. I hope it turns out that his plot involves he himself being attracted to someone and it's not just about him trying to interfere in others' relationships.
“From a Distance Spring Is Green”, which I started out loving but gradually became disappointed by certain plot directions. Then the hate-watching started once they forced a relationship pairing where none should have been. I stuck around to see how they’d further ruin it.
“2gether”, which was great until the main couple were finally in a relationship and awkwardness set in. My persistence in hate-watching was rewarded by the now-legendary high-5 at the end.
“Win Jamie’s Heart”, for its hilarious attempt at romanticizing the unbridled lust off the characters. Each new episode upped the ante.
“A Love So Beautiful”, Kdrama edition. The Cdrama version is one of my favorite series. Once I realized the Kdrama was softening everything including the ML, I kept watching only due to curiosity over what they’d botch next.
If you were to show a couple of minutes of random footage to a friend they'd immediately comment on how amateurish the production is. And maybe so. But I gave it a chance and I like it -- especially the tension between Luke and Calix. Yo buddy! They're both such hotheads, I can't imagine them even being friends, let alone kissing. (Actually, I won't be too surprised if we don't see them kiss. But I'll be hella disappointed. And those two in a sex scene would set my TV on fire.)
Cairo's smile lights up the world and Juanmig has that androgynous beauty that drives the girls wild, but their pairing seems more conventional and therefore more predictable.
Evil Sandee ftw! I think he followed Kit to the library because he noticed that Kit's medical textbook was open…
You might be right. So, maybe it was Mark asking how Pha is doing. I just figured the text had to be something that made Sandee curious about what Kit is up to. I'll have to watch again because it flew past for me too.
Episode 2 Review: I saw someone comment that this show is stuck in 2017, and I couldn't agree more. While this…
Evil Sandee ftw! I think he followed Kit to the library because he noticed that Kit's medical textbook was open to a page about brain illness, and at that moment he also noticed that Kit got a text from Pha. So I believe he was on a reconnaissance mission.
Tong is indeed ludicrous. I will enjoy seeing the tables turned later in the series when he finally wants to declare his love for Pok but things are suddenly more complicated. The tension is gone between the two of them, and the change in dynamic happened off-screen between seasons so I can't totally accept it.
Wayu, Thanu, and Phai are the least interesting to me.

Da On appears in Episode 1. The same actor plays a character in "Best Mistake" so they have a little fun with that.
I don't expect any of these guys to show up again though.
