Ooooh ... so the same people who brought us "Jazz For Two" also produced this series?
Don't get me wrong -- I'm enjoying this. It just that it's interesting that in both J4Two and here, one of the leads is an unlikeable ass.
In J4Two, the nasty ML never fully redeemed himself (at least not to me). He was a bully almost to the end. I hope this series will make Si Yeol's turnaround more convincing.
(Also, instead of kisses I recall J4Two having only closed-mouth lip touches, so we shouldn't expect anything different here.)
So much development in the Chai-Ek relationship! Will they share a tent during next week's camping trip? If I'm honest I have to say that I'm digging their scenes more than Nut's and Win's.
I saw a comment somewhere that it often seems that the "second couple" in a series is written and acted more authentically than the main couple. In this case I tend to agree. Maybe it's because the screenwriters feel more free to develop the storyline.
But yeah, Bom/Chai is damn hot. I'm so grateful to the director for giving us his gratuitous shirtless scenes lol. What a beautiful man he is. And god he's so tall! His acting hits just right, too -- nailing the sweet spot between tough and tender.
Win and Nut need to make some progress, though. It looks like Lin and Biu might end up together, which will free up Nut to pair off with Win. But Win needs to start being more assertive about Nut's health.
Si Yeolâs evil intent. He makes a lot of bad assumptions and doesnât care if he hurts an innocent person in the process. Just terrible. But at least it makes the series more interesting.
That hospital flim-flam wasted a lot of time, although I realize it was meant to show that Hiro still cared enough for Natsuo to throw away a career-defining opportunity.
Overall I enjoyed it, especially once we got past the first episodes and Natsuo's vulnerability became apparent, but the storytelling was disjointed and I have to admit that I didn't find Hiro especially likeable.
I occurred to me today that Win is back in his teenaged body but he's still essentially a 40-something man -- a 40-something man longing for a 17yo boy.
In "The Promise of the Soul" there's an even older man inhabiting a young guy's body and hooking up with a young guy, and the viewers over there are much more alarmed about the age difference. (I haven't watched that series, though. I'm just going by the comments.)
Interesting! It makes me wonder how everyone would feel if Win had been 20 more years older before he time-traveled.
Yes, âqueerbaitingâ is when you purposely lead your audience to expect a gay romance but donât deliver one.It…
What I care about is deceptive marketing. This thing was perpetrated by the same guy who milked âGameboysâ to death, so Iâm not surprised by how it turned out.

That's your interpretation, Einstein.... undoubtedly only after you'd finished watching the series. The trailer doesn't show any romance between the two mains while teasing a kiss between the two boys. So your argument falls flat and I don't think new glasses will help. You're seeing what you want to see.
Further debate is pointless. I'm already annoyed that I got dragged back to this page after forgetting all about this shitty series.
6/10

But the turned tables in the end will surely be satisfying.

Yeah, I know â itâs a competition. A horse race, even.
We get it! đ©
