That hospital flim-flam wasted a lot of time, although I realize it was meant to show that Hiro still cared enough for Natsuo to throw away a career-defining opportunity.
Overall I enjoyed it, especially once we got past the first episodes and Natsuo's vulnerability became apparent, but the storytelling was disjointed and I have to admit that I didn't find Hiro especially likeable.
I occurred to me today that Win is back in his teenaged body but he's still essentially a 40-something man -- a 40-something man longing for a 17yo boy.
In "The Promise of the Soul" there's an even older man inhabiting a young guy's body and hooking up with a young guy, and the viewers over there are much more alarmed about the age difference. (I haven't watched that series, though. I'm just going by the comments.)
Interesting! It makes me wonder how everyone would feel if Win had been 20 more years older before he time-traveled.
Yes, “queerbaiting” is when you purposely lead your audience to expect a gay romance but don’t deliver one.It…
What I care about is deceptive marketing. This thing was perpetrated by the same guy who milked “Gameboys” to death, so I’m not surprised by how it turned out.

That's your interpretation, Einstein.... undoubtedly only after you'd finished watching the series. The trailer doesn't show any romance between the two mains while teasing a kiss between the two boys. So your argument falls flat and I don't think new glasses will help. You're seeing what you want to see.
Further debate is pointless. I'm already annoyed that I got dragged back to this page after forgetting all about this shitty series.
I'm usually impatient for a time-travel series to get to the jump to the past as soon as possible but in this series I don't think they gave us enough time in the previous life for me to see a spark between the mains. Which makes it even more peculiar that Win would then spend 27 years (27!) moping around after Nut's death, practically immobilized by grief.
Even in Win's new life the main couple doesn't get me very jazzed. I just don't see the chemistry there yet.
Now, the guy who smoulders with sexual energy is Chai the bass player. What a hunk! When he's onscreen he's all I can look at, and based on the photos uploaded here it looks like he'll eventually be paired with the drummer Ek. I'll be sticking around for that!
Biu needs to cool her jets and be less of a spazz. (It was her fault she bumped into Chai and spilled the drinks, btw.) Knowing that Nut falls in love with her I'm surprised that Win would invite her to manage their band in his do-over life.
I'm not familiar with the source material so I wasn't prepared for "that" turn of events. As the scene unfolded I think I actually said out loud, "No way..."
Meanwhile, it looks like Per's mother is going to interfere with his and Kan's relationship.
I hope Per isn't the senior who assaulted the junior who was examined by Kan. That scene wasn't inserted randomly, so it only makes sense that the senior in question would be one of the characters we've already met.
I'm enjoying this more than I expected. A couple of weeks ago I didn't bother finishing the first episode but today I decided to give the series another try. Glad I did!
The pace could be a little faster but honestly I don't mind. The whole cast is a feast for the eyes, and now that the two main couples are starting to jell I'm less put off by those occasional weird pauses in the action while one of the couples "shares a moment".
Eager to see where the Tum-Klah relationship might be headed ... 😏
But the turned tables in the end will surely be satisfying.

Yeah, I know — it’s a competition. A horse race, even.
We get it! 😩
