there's so many bad reviews on this one, why? can i hear some postive ones pls? I've been seeing this drama on…
I'm watching for the third time. I think it combines humor, satire, and melodrama very nicely. Woo Do Hwan is perfectly cast for his role, and his crying scenes are next level.
I think Kim Min Jae's amazing performance gets overlooked due to Moon Ga Young being such a presence and people always picking on Joy. I think Joy's performance is fine, btw, it's just that I think the role itself didn't give her a lot of room to stretch her acting skills.
Hopefully by now you've checked out the first few episodes. It takes a little while for the main story to kick in but for me there's never a dull moment.
Stunning episode. The way this series can prance along all cutsie then suddenly bloom into something deep and touching...
To start out I would never have expected it, but looking back, even in the first episode, the scene at the end had the same sudden rawness that took it to another level.
Both boys have so much emptiness inside them. It makes them a perfect match because each of them brings something to fill that space in the other. I think we'll be getting a very happy ending when it all gets wrapped up and I can't wait.
I was just coming here to say considering we are ep 11 it feels like nothing has actually happened in this series.…
I don't think anyone knows why Pie and Phet are always arguing. Pie seems to hate Phet, but then during one of their confrontations Pie told Phet that he knows that Phet hates *him*. I hope the series won't just have the two of them suddenly go from "enemies to lovers" and never explain the roots of their animosity.
Pie chases Khim and Shun chases Rain, and despite being rebuffed over and over they just keep coming back for more. It's mental, but I guess that's Asian drama for you. I've seen that trope in so many series, including m/f, that I wonder if it's got roots in the culture.
For the Baibua scene I think the writers were so eager to have that emotional moment that they forgot that Payu HAS NO IDEA that she saw him getting busy with Rain on the beach. It makes Baibua look mental too.
Rewatching Episode 9, I realized how odd it is for them to play "Soul Mate Hide and Seek" when all the players are guys. And none of the guys objected. That's pretty gay and I like it. 😂😂😂
I read somewhere that the series was made to promote the song, so in a way it's a really long music video. That might be why the ending is about the song being completed and performed and not about the relationship between the two boys.
I agree that it's strange that Smart would come out to Peach so boldly and then get no acknowledgement from Peach. After the performance Peach did seem to warm up to Smart a whole lot more, though, so there's that I guess.
Right! I hate the character but wouldn't want anyone to think I feel that way about the actress. She's just doing a great job playing the part of an annoying person haha.
I suspect that the dorm Matron has something to do with the time travel. She emphasized January 30th as the demolition day, which makes me think there will be a race against time at the end of the series for the two guys to meet at the dorm in the present day, and make their time together a permanent thing.
That little kid actor has to be one of the cutest 10 year olds on the planet. It will be funny if the adult Jae Woo meets his own child self at some point. In a lot of time travel stories that's forbidden because it creates a time paradox or something like that.
And so far, no worn out tropes! I thought we might be in for one when Ji Hoon was eying the food on his friend's lip while they were eating together, but we got out of that unscathed haha.
Presumably the adult Jae Woo now knows the name of the killer. I hope they make quick work of that and focus on the relationship instead of on Jae Woo trying to thwart the murder of Ji Hoon.
The epilogue scene after the end credits shows how the shrimp began its journey into the pasta. I'm pretty sure…
And your question as to how nobody saw a shrimp in the pasta is very good, but in keeping with this show’s indifference to common sense I’m sure we’ll never know. 😂😂😂
I just don't know about this show. It has some good pockets and I have sat through worse, but also what is this?…
The epilogue scene after the end credits shows how the shrimp began its journey into the pasta. I'm pretty sure that Pie didn't overhear Khim and Sun talking about Khim's food allergies, but if he did and went to buy that shrimp on purpose, that makes him a very bad person indeed.

For me the tip-off was the coordinating jammie bottoms. The only thing that would have been more obvious would have been matching "couple" shirts.
And why else would the screenwriters put that in? Between two "straight guys" that kind of gesture would just be bizarre.
😁😁😁

Asuka is the best wingman ever, and fully deserves the happy ending that he got. Even the teacher gave a nice impression in his final appearance.
The series itself might have been stretched beyond what the story needed, but now we can skip the repetitive and annoying parts when we watch again.
