im on episode 18 and i gotta say i was really liking xiaosheng up until the point where he magically decided he was gonna be into her then he just started getting on my nerves.
he was perfectly fine being the pimp...

but dont you love it when you have that kinda crush starting with someone and youre trying to figure them out and then everything is giving you jealousy and anxiety because you dont know them but they excite you haha
so im living for her being jealous "early"

ive seen lots and lots of dramas like many of you have as well. with the cold/ toxic male leads and them actually being quite shittybut i honestly cant say gu won is as toxic. i dont find him horrible and mean and repulsive. like, he is a bit bratty, of course, but his character is way above some other ones.

i loved the fact she told the ex off so well then left and also loved how won didnt act all macho and protective and got all handsy while she was out still. it felt more genuine for won to let her handle her business with the ex then handle the last bits of the interaction..making sure when he left she was safe.

episode 5 was amazing haha i kneww lee jun ho chose this project for a reason hahah

i saw him first in that harem drama where he had a half bald do going for him and i think i liked that better than this wig lol im a hairstylist so i tend to focus on the hair and overall look.
for the actors look part i would have to say i am sometimes reeled in because of it and sometimes because of the story/recs/comments
there were some other things i disliked ,if you will, about this drama and since it wasnt really hooking me on i figured id best give my time to something else than to force myself watch something i should enjoy when i dont.

watched it til episode 16 or rather battled through. like i could see the appeal but i just couldnt get into it so i dropped it. i think i prefer xu kai in a modern drama or maybe in this one it just looked like he had no jawline. maybe it was lighting they were filming in but i couldnt get over the fact he just looked like a long worm all the time lmao.

i really hoped for a bit more. drama had me hooked but last few weeks as i watched as it aired it really blended out for me. still a very good melo. reminded me why i love melos. but i just wanted a tad bit more.

i totally agree. i dont think ive ever been this creeped out by someone. and the way he sits too.his crotch out in the open lmao. the production did well too with portraying him that way.

i dont think i have ever been progressively scared of a character. i keep feeling what fl is feeling with the king and its just creeping me out. like, to not be able to do anything about it...scares the crap out of me. and th way he progressively gets creepier is just ughhh
