I understand your point but at the same time there are many obvious hint that says this isn't sequel of HL, earlier episode give away those hint even trailer. Like in our first episode it is depressing unlike first episode of HL which is bright.

It says even in the synopsis that this drama relation to HL is just shared universe it never said it was sequel. I wish people would actually read the synopsis or see the trailer but it should be very obvious since the title of this drama is different and it never even have the word Season 2 in the title like from that alone you should tell it will be different story.

I don't watch costume dramas it's not my thing, this is indeed obviously a subjective matter and op was just stating in their comment that this drama is a masterpiece for them and my thoughts happen to be aligned with them. Good for you if you find others well but for some of us this is a masterpiece.

how is it possible that I haven't move on from tff, it's so hard I can't get them out of my head, it's almost a month since it ended I already rewatched as soon as it ended then read the novel and now i'm back here like i'm in a loop and back here to rewatch again 😭

Well said this is truly a materpiece. There are not many dramas good at non-linear storytelling and good direction this one exceeded my expectations.
