I'm Fukai. I'm ~~old~~ 23 years at heart. I started watching dramas somewhere around 2003 and I've completed over 900 dramas by now. Bye bye youth, bye bye beauty sleep!

I don't quite remember my first drama, but it was probably something japanese or taiwanese.

Everything started with my love for all things Japanese. I was a big fan of Anime & Manga in my early teens, then I became a fan of japanese music and dramas, which prompted me to learn the language, which led to studies of Japanese in university (among other things), which led to an exchange year in Japan, later followed by several years of working in Japan.

Somewhere along the way the Hallyu Wave hit me and I became a fan of all things korean as well. I became addicted to K-Dramas and years later I also got infected with the K-Pop virus.

Then Wang Yibo happened and now I watch too many Chinese dramas as well.

What I watch: I mainly watch Korean & Chinese dramas. I need action, mystery and/or drama, so if a show only focuses on fluffy romance, I'm out. But give me a badass character any time. I place more value on well-written characters than the storyline itself. Awesome characters can even keep me hooked to a really crappy drama.		Stereotypes I dislike: Weak and/or frustratingly timid or obedient female characters, "poor" candy/ rich jerk, insta love and cringe-worthy romance, pushovers that are absurdly forgiving, evil mother-in-laws and annoying exes, crybabies, DV, amnesia, last minute accidents, senseless break ups and years apart
	Favorite Tropes: Tragic Past, Revenge, Time Travel, Supernatural, Bromance, Strong Female Lead, Smart /Strong Male Lead, Hate to Love, Hidden Identity, Misunderstood Characters, Selfless/self-sacrificing characters

Troublemaker Fan Xian (Joy of Life) by Zhang Ruo Yun Strong martial artist, sneaky poison master, revered poet, skilled strategist and sought-after ally for the powerful elite. 	Genius profiler Lee Hyun (I Remember You) by Seo In Guk Misunderstood as a monster, he would rather sacrifice himself for his younger brother than see him suffer. A lonely man, burdened by his guilt and sense of responsibility
