I haven't read the manga, and I'd agree with the others that it's not nearly as good as the anime, but what do you expect out of two 2 hour movies? I'd say at least give it a try, I enjoyed it, maybe you will too. Uh-oh...you may not like Toda Erika in this either.

You should give it a try, it's very good! Completely different from Death Note though. It has 26 episodes.

I've seen all 3 live action movies they did for Death Note. Death Note and Death Note: The Last Name are good, I really enjoyed them. L: Change the World I was not a big fan of. You could skip that one.

You should look up more of his stuff, he's a really good voice actor, one of my faves! I love his voice too! He has his own cds as well. I was watching Ouran High School Host Club when I was told about Death Note and he plays two completely different characters in the shows, it's awesome. I'd recommend Ouran and FullMetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. FMA is my favorite anime of all time.

The live action is a part 1 and 2, but they did change some things from the anime. Oh, there is a third movie about L, but I didn't think it was very good.

I still have to finish ep 10, we made it halfway through before one of our other shows was on.

Maybe I'll have to look into it then.

Brad Swaile does the english voice and Miyano Mamoru does the original japanese voice. Which version are you watching? I love both Light and L, they are fantastic characters. Are you going to watch the 2 live action movies they made when you finish the anime?

I haven't watched any of the I Need Romance series. Do I need to watch the other ones to understand the new one?

I don't watch anime as much as I used to, but my friend is showing me Gundam 00 and I like it so far. It's putting me back into an anime mood. Light in your profile picture was what attracted me to your profile, then I spotted you talking about the bromance and just had to befriend you!

I've seen Pride. Another one I thought was very good, but still not one of my favorites. I have been noticing recently though that I like the dramas that star the SMAP members. The characters and storylines seem more mature and I really appreciate that.

I was waiting for my mother to come watch them with me because she's been enjoying the show as well. I have to agree, those were the best episodes so far. I was kind of losing hope because it didn't seem like anything was really happening in the story, but now it's starting to get somewhere!

Jung Il Woo! I may have to pass though. Too long and if you say it has too much melodrama, I don't think I could handle that. Maybe I'll have to look into Miss Korea, I like a little bit of weird!

I just finished Bara no nai Hanaya the other day. I admit it was a really good show, but it's not a favorite. I guess I just wasn't as emotionally attached to it as some of the others I've watched.

Ah! I still need to watch episode 7 and 8! I wasn't able to get to them yesterday because of a family party, but I'm hoping to watch them tonight. I'm glad it seems like it's getting good, I was kind of losing hope there for a couple of episodes. How are Golden Rainbow and Miss Korea?

I'm currently watching Bara no nai Hanaya, Legal High, and You Who Came From the Stars and loving them all! What dramas are you currently watching?
