I personally like their approach with this story. Usually, J-Drama are more focused at how they fall in love and…
agree, more realistic than many other dramas. calling each other by first names while dating, how refreshing lol

Was the first season screened on Amazon or similar? for those of us who live outside of Japan and don't want to navigate DO. I don't have time to put bits and pieces together, just want to watch it 🙏

Review 366 Days
Saw this at the JFF in Australia in November 2025, fantastic film. This role seemed the best vehicle for Akaso Eiji's abilities since Cherry Magic. as a side note, when someone is close to death, hospitals tend not to bother with monitoring equipment, but simply make the person feel more comfortable during the time they have left. And yes. they do usually look more pale towards the end. But agree the illness trope was overused in this film, to create the desired outcome.

Need to watch a few episodes to decide. First episode felt cliché in a few places and pace is slow burn. Not sure it's a stretch of Akaso Eiji's capabilities, either. The FL portrays a bewildered and overwhelmed foreign student, very well. Not being critical; it's simply too early to tell. Hopefully there is deeper character development in E2&3.

Why only 1 ep per week? Thought it is released at once
That is how Netflix is screening many serial dramas now, in a competitive market. reduces the common practice of binge and unsubscribe

WOW!! Thank you for such a motivating response/ review. was not sure if I should continue after episode one and now I know I will. as a part time human rights advocate, sometimes I'm APPALLED at how others seek to denigrate, alienate and control. unacceptable. look forward to the show and your next review! You're Awesome!!

It's so fantastic that Netflix is now buying and screening these older dramas. so many of them pre covid were apparently very high quality true jdorama. I'm really enjoying this one!

This drama is good .. but Haruta is a big time fool .. like how can he step on marriage altar with his boss without…
perhaps Haruta is the kind of person who doesn't like to put himself first and say no to others. agree, going ahead with that marriage would have been awful 🤢
