Very satisfied and happy with SToTD2! I rated it a 9.0 & looking forward to S3. If I wanna nitpick, I wish there's a bit more interaction between Xuehuan and Xijun. If you've watched S1 you'd know how important and close they were to each other. If you didn't watch S1 and just watched S2, you wouldn't even think they knew each other if Xuehuan didn't mention at the very end that he's happy to meet his lady again.

I personally don’t know how significant mythological/wild beasts are in Chinese history but I heard that the production takes feedbacks and suggestions from Chinese viewers of S1. Maybe it’s an element that Cnetz really like. If so, we might see them again in S3 🤷‍♀️ (I hope not though. After the tiger, it seems too repetitive).
