The problem with Chu Siyu is that they can't find him and perhaps only He Zijiao knows. He might even know what's the antidote to the mutation because he gave Xu some herbs. I don't think he's the mastermind though, in the end it's probably connected to some political factions or minister.

Yeah that was me too, guessing what this ‘plague’ was about. For me the messy part was just in the beginning when I was confused with the black cloaks, monsters and villagers. Once they explained abt the cult and who the monsters are, it becomes easy to follow.

It gets really good from Ep 5 onwards.

I hope more of her subscribers know this too. They missed so many good even great dramas just because she gave a bad review. 1 eg. is The Wind Blows from Longxi.

Yeah she does but it’s her channel so she can have her views. We just need to bear in mind that if we have an interest in a new drama, we should check it out ourselves for a few episodes and see if we like it. I watch her videos and I do like to hear what she says but not necessarily agree with everything.

I think it’s pretty good and interesting. AvX can be inconsistent with her views. I’m not a fan of CGI monsters but I like that they have heads that are human-like, showing hints that they were once humans.
