I’m scared. What if that’s not another version of Mogu but really Mogu himself? What a shocking plot twist.
But Mogu is not from the Qi family. The twin curse is only on the Qis. And Mogu never appeared in Fulong after he appeared in Dianfeng Valley. So that made me feel that it’s the same Mogu! 🥺
I’m so happy that the new eps keep giving surprises and new mysteries! I’ll type some thoughts below in spoiler…
1st of all omg I like Mogu but if he’s the bad guy I’d be sooo disappointed but wow this plot twist literally shook me! 2nd, like everyone else I miss grandma the older one. She’s more imposing and charismatic. I hope they bring her back. 3rd, I really think Yan threw Old Master away to let him return to Fulong to help the rest. 4th, Qian Yu’s arc is so mysterious. Something’s wrong with the emperor and the imperial sorcerer especially the latter! I hope Brick shows some princely courage and wisdom to save his country. And finally, I love the brotherhood & a sister! Xiaoxuan smiled a lot! Oh! Can’t believe I’ve forgiven Wu Lidan.
Worth-watching but you gotta have some patience. I like it from the beginning but the story really picks up from Ep 14 onwards and keeps getting better.
Ok what in the what did I just watch? That is one emaciated looking dragon thing that YM keeps. I think Yan is…
I think Yan’s angry & bitter but he’s not evil nor does he plan to join Yimei’s cause. He’s just pretending to be on Yimei’s side I THINK, in order to find a solution to the twin curse in the Qi family. Abt the dragon 🤣 I noticed that the cgi is not consistent in this drama. Some parts were done well while some looked like some cheap production.
He might be not a good father but he is a good human
Yeah but I don’t get this actor. His acting is just so…expressionless. I’m starting to get why Yimei’s so wooden(coz she really dgaf abt anyone & anything aside from her goal) but daddy didn’t have to be like that. It made me so detach from feeling anything for him when he was betrayed by his own shifu & sacrificed to protect the ppl. This role could’ve been so much better 😪 sorry for the rant.
but if her 500 year evil plan is to try and revive her beloved master bc ~~~~love~~~ i'll b a lil Disappointed™…
I think she’s been lonely for far too long and I won’t be surprised if she’s trying to revive him out of love or pining for him, although I’d also be disappointed if it’s just coz of love 😂 I started to understand there might be a reason for her wooden acting. Yimei just dgaf abt anything.
I agree. I’m willing to look past some funny cgi and cheapo-looking demons for the wonderful plot twists and developments. I felt like I was going on a thrill ride.
Thanks for explaining a bit about the actor for Ji Chang. I was wondering why he spoke like that and why they picked him for the role when there are many other good veteran actors who could articulate better. Makes me respect Li Xuejian more and wanna read more abt him.
It getting interesting… I want to know where is the crane in Tiger and Crane.. If QXX is the crane, then is…
Yes the plot is moving very fast and exciting now. The Qi family is related to the crane somehow. I’ve seen the crane statues in the hall somewhere and Huzi’s trinket for QXX is a crane apparently. And the demon king is a crane…I think they are related.
