🤣🤣🤣 I swear I laughed so much in the past few eps for the exact reason you mentioned. I dunno if it’s their acting or what but it feels like I’m watching a theatrical production than a tv drama.

I agree there are too many villains, it’s an overkill. Actually I feel that they’re just pushing the plot along now without making too much sense. They’re supposed to be brilliant people working in internet security. After so many times of being attacked they should be on high alert of everyone around them now but nope, the script told them to be stupid just so the plot could keep moving 🤣 At this point it’s still watchable for me coz of the actors.

I’m pretty sure by now coz they kept emphasizing how the senior was understanding & must’ve forgiven QH 😂

Nah, not the style of Candle in the Tomb. There is some romance between Hu Bayi and Shirley but it’s very minimal and subtle.

I don’t understand why many people in China commented that this story is the weakest from Jinyong but then got so pissed and rated it poorly when they made some changes to the original novel. I think so. Maybe HF thinks that he needs to be loyal to Ziyi after how she climbed those steps to save his life, so he wouldn't even allow himself to see ANY possibility with CLS. Plus he doesn't know yet that she could never be with him because of her vows. I feel so sad for CLS and prefer her to be with HF but I guess HF staying loyal to YZY is more like his personality. If he had fallen for CLS and chose to be with her the moment YZY's away from him, I'd probably like him less or question his love for YZY.

Omg you're right! I LOVE not just his voice but the way he speaks slowly and calmly. It kinda supports his character as someone with a lot of inner power/energy whatever you call it from a kungfu master.

I thought Yuan Ziyi was perfect for Hu Fei. Then when Chen Lingsu appeared I thought I liked both of them but after she got sisterzoned, I realized I like her more with Hu Fei than Ziyi! Ah complicated! Also, Ma Chunhua finally reappears. That arrogant sticky maskman Shang is so stupid and annoying, I wish he had burned to death with his mom.
