Hmmm... before the show, I was fancying a PheemMawin pairing, because I didn't want Pheem to be lonely. But after meeting the characters and getting into the series, I think Mawin has an agenda of sorts: he's using Pheem to get revenge on Koh. I could be wrong, though, but something about Mawin ... its like one minute he's dishing out the good advice and the next minute, he's enabling Pheem.

And that's what separates both men. They're literally the opposite of each other.

Erm, Koh's hotness aside, I think what Jira finds hot is how assertive and controlling Koh is.

No matter what position Koh chooses to lay down in/sleep, his posture seems to mimick art come to life (especially from the Renaissance period). It's no wonder Jira was inspired immediately to draw him.

The light in Koh's room is getting brighter. Ever since he realized his feelings for Jira it's like the darkness that he walked himself into is gradually fading from his life.

What Pheem couldn't do - get his words out and communicate properly - Koh is doing. He values Jira's feelings.

Ok, everyone, SSSSHHHHH!! Do not tell Pheem that it was Jira who initiated the kiss otherwise he'll go nuclear!

Regardless of Jira's scheme of always running to his bestie, Ing is such a good friend!

So, Koh's mother brainwashed him? 🤔

Thank you! No, you're not way off at all. We have to look at every possible angle. But you know what would've been a fantastic twist? If it was Jade and Jay all along getting revenge for someone related to them. But I know that's not the way it's going to go.

When I rewatch certain scenes with Pheem, I have to conclude - and confess - that I finally figured out the problem - or part of it - with him: he doesn't quite know how to put his feelings into words and therefore, he solves everything with the currency he only knows: sex. He don't communicate, therefore his "care" get messy. Koh might be cruel, but compared to Pheem, Koh knows how to use his words.
