Honestly, I couldn’t care less if the leads end up getting together. I’m watching it for the court cases, and they have not disappointed and thankfully they have been the main focus of the show. I just find it funny how many expect the romance to be the main focus of the show and complain that this is boring.

I’ve complimented coworkers before on something I thought was nice, didn’t mean I was interested in them romantically.

I’ve posted this multiple times, people keep ignoring this.

Yeah, I understand. God forbid we get 12 episodes with no romance between the leads. There will be tons of comments about what a horrible show this is, they didn’t get their romance, blah blah blah. The score will probably drop to 7.3, lol.

Ridiculous! Directors are under no obligation to give you what you want. You are reading way too much into this, there is nothing suggesting any romance between these characters.

I agree totally with you. Did you see The Good Partner? There is pretty much zero romance in that which I found very refreshing. I was really hoping this would be exactly like The Good Partner, and so far it has and hopefully continues.

If you look at the Netflix site it says “drama”. There is nothing mentioned at all about romance.

The romance tag was added just recently (probably by someone hoping to see it). Personally, I have not seen anything to indicate this is more than a mentor relationship. I think people read too much into these interactions and see what they want to see rather than what’s really going on.

The cases are what it’s supposed to be about, it’s a legal drama not a romance. And, the cases have been very compelling. I still don’t understand why people watch this expecting a lot of romance. Frankly, I don’t think the ML is ready to be in a relationship. He needs time alone to figure out what he wants and finally put his ex-wife behind him. Getting involved with the FL would be disastrous, they are at totally different points in their lives.

Yeah she’s really bad. If she had said something like “I wasn’t really ready to have a kid when we were married. It was wrong of me to get an abortion without talking to you first, I’m sorry” I might feel differently about her. Instead, she didn’t apologize at all and made him feel like a horrible person for having the audacity to divorce her. Why the hell would he “stick by her side” after she did this? What’s preventing her from doing the exact same thing if she got pregnant again?

Like I said in another comment, he needs to just cut her out of his life permanently. Stop getting her stupid cologne!!

Just a few notes:

I thought the case in episode 5 wasn’t nearly as intriguing as the previous cases, but still good. I have high hopes they have some good ones ahead, hopefully getting rid of more evil in society like politicians, CEO’s and Chaebols.

This ML seriously needs to get over that ex-wife and move on. Honestly, I think he dodged a bullet leaving her. It’s highly likely she would have pulled another stunt like having another abortion without telling him or cheating on him if he stayed with her. I remember one episode he was watching a video with her. Seriously!!?? He needs to burn that and anything else associated with her. Get a new dog and let her have the other one and forget about her! She’s not worth it.

I’d love to see the two leads get together and date and get married. Then he can rub it in the face of his witch ex-wife and so-called best friend how he got a woman ten years younger than him and prettier than her. He’d definitely get the last laugh 🤣
