Thanks for posting this, I agree. The comments section of MDL have really turned into a cesspool. I have to laugh at these people saying the show did not follow the synopsis. I have read the synopsis about ten times, and I think it followed the synopsis very closely. People have this mindset that a show should be perfectly tailored to them, and when it isn’t they throw a temper tantrum.

I don’t understand the high rating for this, I dropped after episode 2. It doesn’t do anything interesting, creative, or new. It’s tepid like water or inoffensive like white bread. meh.

If they had just followed the webtoon this would have been much better. Unfortunately, they changed nearly everything.

Yes, I was so disappointed they changed so much from the webtoon which was excellent. It seems like these directors always want these stupid love triangles anymore which I am so sick of. I would love if they could adapt this story and actually follow the webtoon.

Funny, when I see this done by a male character I find it as equally irritating and repulsive as I did with Sang Yeon. I don’t find them complex or brooding, they’re just a-holes.

I think what the intent here is that the police were incompetent and/or they were told to wrap it up very quickly and get a conviction. When you rush through an investigation there will be many mistakes. They immediately singled out Ra Ik to be the fall guy and didn’t deviate from that until the very end.

People have a right to express their views, good or bad. It’s not your job to police message boards.

This drama was so disappointing. One of the reasons I watched this was it was from the same screenwriter who did Mystic Pop-Up Bar, which I really loved and is one of my favorites.

Really loved her in The Good Bad Mother. That was a fantastic drama. Highly recommend.

I really am enjoying Ji-U’s older sister, too bad she doesn’t have a bigger role. She was fantastic in My Liberation Notes.

In the genre it is listed as romance and life. In the tags section it has romance and comedy listed. There was most definitely romance in this. While there was drama, it had comedic moments too. It just didn’t rely on nonstop tropes for laughs as much as this show. Personally, I laughed a lot more than I did in this show.

Watching the last half when they were kissing and in the kitchen making that meal with the cheesy music in the background felt like watching a soap opera. Cue hourglass: “Like sands through the hourglass, so are the days of our lives!”

You’re brave posting this here. Expect a barrage of hateful comments telling you that you don’t have taste or telling you to just watch something else. For the record I totally agree. How this got an 8.4 rating is beyond me.

I guess we’ll just agree to disagree. I’ve seen probably a dozen rom-coms this year that I think are much better than this.

This drama seems to have a cult fanbase, and if you dare say even one negative comment they jump all over you or post things like “If you don’t like it, just watch something else!”or “Don’t take this so seriously!” It’s called freedom of speech.

I personally think My Mister is a masterpiece show. I’ve seen comments claiming “it’s soooo boring” or something of the like. Do I agree with them? No, but they have a right to express how they feel and I would never jump all over someone like the people here do.
