I’ve always been a sucker for a reincarnation story and I’m happy to say so far so good! Romance isn’t such a strong factor (at least, not yet), but I honestly don’t mind.

I am actually enjoying this drama so far… acting is great (especially gramps!), I find the characters interesting, the plot is engaging enough, and I AM curious how it will end… but I’m almost too distracted by how attractive song joongki is 💀 I literally have to rewind some parts to know what they were saying… bc I’m too busy staring at his face. like what?

Yo i just know I’m gonna love Jinyoung in this, I can hardly wait another week!

I was actually quite loving this drama until around episode 11/12… no matter how invested I was in the several relationships and their dynamics, it could no longer sustain the weak storyline. Too bad since I wanted to stay engaged up until the end. I think I’d still say I liked it, but my rating went from an 8.5 to a 7 :’)

I also thought it could be an age difference thing. And that actually seems to be a common factor in a lot of reviews I come across on MDL, which makes total sense of course. Our opinions come from our individual perspectives and experiences. I think my age also made it hard for me to like shows like Alchemy of Souls or Bride of Habaek… even school themed dramas are getting harder for me to relate to.

Yes! 😂 Even with all its flaws, I’m still swept into the story every time…

You know, with a (MUCH) better script this would actually be a pretty good drama. Visuals are great, the acting really isn’t half bad, and Dai Guo Zheng who plays the ML is honestly among the most attractive chinese actors I’ve seen. But the cheesiness, toxic characters, and terrible ending had me saying “wtf” to my screen lol.
