I died laughing when Chang Hee jumped on Mr. Gu lol Mr. Gu definitely has a soft spot for him or he wouldn't have entertained him so far! Chang Hee reminds me of the older brother in My Mister (I forgot his name). Hilarious, a little stupid but has his heart in the right place. Even if I do find him annoying sometimes, which is happening less and less.
I don't know why my feelings are being opposite to everyone but I'm glad because I LOVED episode 9. While last week I felt frustrated and annoyed, episode 9 was fun.
I think being "friends" is a big step forward for Yeon Soo and Choi Woong. Since they met again in the present, there wasn't even one scene where they weren't trying to hurt or avoid each other. This day they spent together alone was nice. And the "friendship" is a good excuse for them to be honest with each other.
As much as I want them to be together immediately, if it happened right after the kiss things would go badly because they still haven't talked. In Woong's perspective, Yeon Soo is the one who broke up with him with no explanations and their relationship in the past was totally dictated by her. He always followed her rhythm.
In the present, he's the one who agreed to the documentary and kissed her, so it looks like he's the one running after her (again!) after being dumped in the past, so I understand his hesitation, he doesn't want to get hurt. Yeon Soo is the one who needs to step forward this time. She needs to open up to him and be vulnerable so they can build trust again.
i am also sick of Ji Ung and NJ!!! especially in this episode. i know they are supposed to ignite some jealousy…
I find NJ less annoying because it's a normal situation. She just met this guy and she has a crush on him. She doesn't know about his story with Yeon Soo. Ji Woong is pining after someone he never dated... even 5 years after. And she's was his "brother's" girlfriend. It feels like backstabbing and just weird! Like, move on bro.
It was a beautiful kiss and I love the dialogue before it happened but this episode made me feel so frustrated overall that the kiss scene wasn't enough to make me happy... Unpopular opinion but Ji Woong was so fucking annoying this episode. I was okay with him before, but by now he's made it obvious he's using the documentary for his own personal gain (because he's a big COWARD) and it's manipulative as hell. God, I'm starting to hate him.
This is the best couple of the year and I'll hear no arguments. Story is nothing special and side characters are forgettable, but Kim Min Jae and Park Gyu Young were outstanding! So much chemistry and really good acting. Da Li and Moo Hak were such good characters. Da Li was smart but naive, soft but self-assured. I love her! And Moo Hak was brash and loud, but honest and hardworking, it's impossible not to love him. Because of their personalities, they gave us a believable "hate"-to-love story and two people who argued about plausible things since they had distinct life philosophies. Also, this drama was hilarious. And gave me so much second hand embarrassment lol It felt like a 2000s/2010s drama sometimes... in a good way.
I am sad this show is over. I am going to keep thinking about it for a while.I had a question though. Can someone…
From what I understood she was referring to their marriage, yes! The moment one of them confessed to someone else, they would be acting on their feelings, so there was no going back. While liking someone is something you can pretend is not happening.
This week episodes' felt like a reward. After so much pain and suffering, finally a little happiness, a little peace, a little understanding from someone else. It warmed my heart.
Episode 11 was almost magical on a way... The scenery and Kang Jae's story about his trip with his mom. Also, the number of times Kang Jae stopped himself from smiling!!! He was so happy being able to see Boo Jung again.
Mr. Gu definitely has a soft spot for him or he wouldn't have entertained him so far!

Also, I thought Shi Woo was a puppy but he's a fuckboy lmao

Unforgettable drama.
