I am a bit confused about something.. the miscarriage she had the doctor said she carried a dead child for 5 weeks…
From what I understand, when she was beat up by Ah Ran she endend up in the hospital and had a miscarriage. But when this happened her child was already dead for 5 weeks because of a intrauterine cardiac arrest (she didn't know this before going to the hospital because of Ah Ran).
Episodes 3 and 4 were even better than the first week! I'm so curious about the characters. I feel like there's more much to each one of them. The biggest example gotta be Ah Ran. She's despicable for all the things she's done until now, but her conversations with Ji Hoon made me pity her somehow.
About Jung Soo, I know people have distinct opinions but I don't like him at all. He's a passive and dismissive husband, even if not on purpose. He seems to care about Boo Jung's feelings to some extent but he's self-centered. And I know she doesn't make it easy, since she's so closed off but it's like he can keep their relationship as it is and keep living miserably like that until he dies. (Also, I'm pretty sure he's a cheater... yikes)
I'm very curious about where Boo Jung and Kang Jae's relationship is going. The end of ep 4 made it look almost like a prohibited relationship, which is pretty interesting. They're very alike in their depression, if that can even be said, so I can see why they're drawn to each other.
I decided to give this a watch after waiting for all the episodes to finish and currently on episode 4! But I'm…
Changge's uncle conspired to strike a coup and kill the crown prince! Now he is the "new" crown prince. They haven't explained why yet (I'm on ep 30) but I think they had different ideas about how to govern a country.
While this is very obviously a rom-com, the focus it gives to the characters' entire lives is what makes it much more enjoyable for me. People aren't made just of their romantic relationships! Friendships/family/colleagues/profession... all this matters and makes the characters come alive! And this drama does it masterfully. The interactions between the supportive characters are gold! Don't know if I'm making sense, but...
Dong Jae continues to be a sleazeball but he cracks me up everytime lol The dialogue remains strong, which means I have to rewatch so I can pick up on all the things that were said between the lines. I'm still on the fence about the new characters... are they good? Bad? Who knows...
First episode went by so quickly! It's was a great start: simple yet entertaining. Also, I have faith on the writer, so I know there's much more to come. Also, I love that they kept the same OST, it gave me so many feels T_T
My theory: MY's mother is really dead. The head nurse is MY's aunt and she's getting revenge for her sister. That would explain why she knows so many details. But the preview confused me since MY seems to think her mom is coming after her... Can't wait for tomorrow's episode!
This drama is a masterpiece... but is probably not for everyone. It's strictly character-driven, which can be boring for people who don't like slice of life. With that being said, it's a drama that grows on you. Initially, you don't know these people so you don't care much about them. But as the episodes go by, you get to know all their little quirks and complexities and it's impossible to not fall in love. At some point, I just wanted them to be happy. I also need to say this is one of the most realistic things I've ever watched. And it's... painful. When we watch dramas focused on investigation/thrillers etc, it's easy to symphatize with the characters. But we don't bring those feeling to real life, because we believe there isn't a serial killer living in our street. And that's where this drama hits different. Because aging is a thing everyone is going to go through. And older people are in all of our lives, they're your grandparents, your parents, aunts, uncles, cousins. They're real. And that's why it's such a beautiful drama, despite the simplicity of the plot. I truly recommend this!

And yeees, we're everywhere haha hello army!
FLAVOR!
Two episodes in and they already mentioned things that happened in the end of S1. You're gonna get spoiled...
