I started this drama with zero expectations and now I'm in love. It's SO good! I'm counting down the hours till the next episode. Also, the melancholy gives me Just Between Lovers vibes :)
It's so weird to think that someone like Jung Yoo Taek had a dream too. And a "childish" dream, even. I think we tend to forget that everyone is a complex and unique person. And I'm saying this about real life too. There's people we don't like and that's okay, but we should never forget that they're real and they breath and feel as much as we do. Now, talking about the character itself, I love Yoo Taek's scenes. He's an ass? Yes! But that's what makes him so interesting because even if he's not good, I can still understand his motivations. It's just the way he was raised. And, I must admit, I kinda ship him with Ma Ri, even if I think she's waaay too good for him, like Gang Doo said. They're still cute together. I just wanted to share my view about him because ep 13 brought us an interesting and new perspective.
I'm not even going to start talking about the other characters or I'll write a bible because that's how much I love this drama.
Is this a sad drama? I'm getting mixed messages from the clips. the synopsis sounds dark, tragic and unappealing…
It's not sad! It's a little melancholy but not in a super sad way, it's pretty realistic... I don't know how to explain it properly but you should watch it because it's really good!
I think everyone should give this drama a try. It has a very particular feeling to it. The characters are all complex, interesting and multi-faceted. Also, this year was full of the same themes in dramaland, but this one focuses on construction/architecture, which is a breath of fresh air.
A drama I really want to watch but has a love triangle so I know 100% that it's gonna do nothing but make me ma…
I'm watching this right now even if I don't like love triangles and I love it. I think you should give it a try... Because it's not that kind of love triangle where you pick a side and you hate the other choice. At least for me, it's more about the female protagonist.
I can't explain why but I love this drama SO MUCH!! Episode 5 was a little slower but great. The ending made me cry, it was fantastic to have a better understanding of Ji Ho's relationship with her mother.
So much chemistry (and kisses)!!!! One of the things that bothers me the most on japanese dramas/movies is that I can't seem to connect with the characters, but I didn't have the same problem with this movie. A really simple, even cliche story, but wonderfully executed and well-acted!
