I believe the college SY and DJX went to was about an hour away from their hometown. I think there was a scene where SZ "Google" mapped how far the college was to see if she could get her brother home for dinner. They weren't exactly in close proximity to each other for daily visits so I think they barely interacted.
When SY was 17 and DJX was 21/22, the new dorm they moved into was actually in their hometown and he was there for his Master's program. I'm assuming it's a different university or just a different campus. I think he only tutored her for the summer. I'm not sure how the Chinese education system works but it seemed like it was during a long school break. This is probably where they had the most interaction with each other since he was working multiple part time jobs, dealing with his internship, and school. He moves back to Yihe before graduation.
They don't meet again until she's a freshman in college so she's 18/19 and he's 24/25.
Well i’d rather have not so popular ML with decent acting than a famous ML and the drama to be turned into ML…
I wish they’d consider someone like Wang Rui Cheng and Gao Han. I’ve liked everything WRC has been in. Gao Han was the third Prince in LLTG and I loved the brief scene where he and ZLS interacted.
I think they’d be able to pull off the 2ML and 3ML parts.

I think we were lucky with getting 25 episodes. It went from a rumored 30 to 24 then to 25 when it got approved. But yes, which they found some way to add those deleted scenes!!

The source novel had a 7 year age gap between them. I’m wondering if they had to adjust the age difference during filming and that part of the script wasn’t corrected…
