Since Chinese novels like to use reincarnation as a plot device, I hope fate will allow them to be finally together in another life. It makes it easier to accept this part of the drama. The LYF comments were a tug of war between shippers. It was fun. I personally liked XL because even at his worse couldn’t compare to the obsessive YL and psychotic XW. ZZ is in a class by himself. Noble and dedicated. I wish the soulmates in both dramas could live happily ever after, but soulmates don’t have to.

It sure beats watching the evil first life. We would have to watch two seasons a year apart. Ugh.

I didn’t read the novel, but like the way the drama is handling the dark first lives. More of a recollection. It makes the drama focus on the second life story in one season. Unlike LLTG which didn’t balance the end with their married life.

I remember reserving SOKP on Iqiyi one year ago. Then they took it off coming soon and restarted the reservation. Actually I thought SOKP was similar to Mango TV’s Lost track of time which aired Sept 2022. Both FLs were empresses that got to have a second life to change the first. Difference was FL was different (malicious vs kind).
