Her sister was right there inviting her to her home when she never visits. It was sick. She wanted to do anything to stop the abuse. But to sacrifice her sister? Sick. No such thing as sharing your fate. Luckily the FL was on her second life with memories intact. I can't get past it. I should just skip those parts. It bothers me. ***Just checked cyn Lyn blog post. Totally different. Go Ahead is more about family life and growing up in a nice neighborhood. Dear Mayang Street is about realistic struggle of families in a neighborhood. Go Ahead is the best but Dear Mayang Street hurts and you'll never forget it. When it aired in 2020, I watched every episode. Nothing will ever match my intense focus when I discovered c-drama in 2020. I couldn't get enough of it. 100% YouTube. My journey finally has led me back to YT to watch vertical dramas. Why is this above love like the Galaxy on ratings ..? Disrespectful to that masterpiece.
Galaxy missed in some ways. Too many episodes were wasted on her mother's actions. And something was off from his devotion to going berserka instead of choosing a new family with her. The ending was ruined and felt slapped together. Thankful I read the novel. For this reason, I never rewatched. The Prisoner of Beauty deserves a higher rating because the main lead's story is well-developed. The side character stories were a miss, but if I chose anything to change from the novel is the side characters and his rough character.
Reaching 40 is truly an achievement. Life is rough and it can show on your face. No shame in that. ML looks like a war lord unlike other pretty boy actors
Episode 20 felt like such a setback for the FL. He is easily swayed. Disappointing dope. She has to search for breadcrumbs. Frustrating. I'm glad Master Zhenshi will give her a break The boys have to suffer as usual

I went back to the novel to find out exactly when they consummated. It was in a tent. I think it's coming up in episode 17 because they're back in a room in episode 18 and there's increased signs of affection. Unless they go back on the road. I don't think they're going to show us but I can imagine that myself and go from there.

I get apothecary diaries when I watch this drama. I get stuck watching certain episodes. Everyone (representing us) on the fringes watch their relationship get closer. The FLs are very smart. Very much a step ahead of the ML. MLs practically shut down when their ladies are around. Loving it.
