Why not find another source or country for dramas that entertain you? The time and energy gone to waste. C-dramas are similar to what we have in the US hallmark channel and fantasy romance books. It never was thought provoking for me. This is my fourth year. I’ve learned about palace intrigue , power and family struggles, careers/industries, fantasy, martial arts. My interest is slowly dwindling due to censorship, short series, and drama length, I’m seriously thinking about stopping my subscriptions. Aside from that , I’m sure there other places where you can watch high quality chInese programming. I also stream many international movies on Netflix about love, mystery, adventure, and the human condition.
