Finally the epilogue… i was relieved to see the confusion over who sent him the medicine was cleared up and he witnessed her sacrifice. The little girl looked just like him. This ending is much better than what we almost got in ep 26. It was excellent. No fillers. Many bittersweet moments towards the end. It was great watching it with you all. Thank you. 💗

Just finished ep 26 on Viki. The last scene goes back to the beginning. She just left the mountain for home. He was on a court mission. They met on the road. He mentions he never thought he would neet his lifelong love. She had no misunderstanding or prejudice. He introduced himself. She looked up happily and they hug. Does this mean she recognized him as her fiancee before returning home? Someone or something changed her mind about him after she went home? She became reckless and bitter about the arranged marriage. Very odd. An unanswered question.

He knew she loved family. Why poison yourself? He never thought of her. After taking out the special pipa to cure his poison, her aging disease returned. She disappeared knowing her death was upon her. After the Master delivered the baby and realized the baby also carried part of the pipa. Her aging stopped at that point. Not able to reverse the aging. Also seeing he moved on with the princess. She moved on with her life and little girl. If it wasn’t for the little girl bumping into him. He wouldn’t have found her. He was the one who was an idiot. Giving up on their marriage. She was old. No beautiful man would be interested in her. I don’t blame her. He kept pushing her away. Probably wanted the child. Because he sure didn’t want her post-divorce. It’s the story, but I’m not siding with RY because he’s graceful and beautiful. I feel the FL sacrificed everything and paid him back 💯.
