Idk what the producer's/writer's intention was but what was shown was clearly SA. The fact that Pan gives up fighting at some point doesn't make it consensual suddenly. And I agree with you, they could have depicted that scene in many other (better) ways. Imagine Peem throwing a fit of jealousy, telling her again how only she's allowed to f*** her and Pan replying what she's waiting for. Or Pan kissing her first, showing that she wants Peem despite her being so toxic. Or as you said, focussing on Pan's pleasure more. Toxicity and consent aren't mutually exclusive and then it can be hot too. I'm just very disappointed in how it turned out. Also agree about the limited number of episodes, it feels very rushed overall. LenaMiu really deserved better, they are amazing and I can't praise the acting enough, it's outstanding. (thanks for the nice reply btw, I feel like lots of ppl get take it very personally when you criticise sth and don't really want to understand different POV)
I was hoping that CH3 would surprise me, like they did with Fulfill. Yes, that show was VERY predictable, but…
Personally I don't mind the possessiveness and controlling, that was the whole point of her character and I don't think she particularly enjoys seeing Pan miserable (I like the longer comment someone left below analysing her), but I draw the line at the ending scene.
Why people here are assuming that this was going to be all rainbow and ponies? Yes its a toxic show, yes it have…
I think everyone here knew what they were getting into, me included, and I didn't mind the toxicity and Peem being verbally abusive (and maybe a little rough sometimes), as you said, that was the point. But there was no need at all to turn Peem (who never laid a hand on Parn in the novel) into a rapist. There is no coming back from that.
And besides the plot, the editing/the transitions are beyond horrible and how do you include scenes in the "previous" flashback that weren't even shown in the first ep??
they're together now but why do they sound more distant when talking to each other? they look so stiff. i even…
I thinks it's bc the sugar baby arrangement, as flawed as it was, created at least some believable chemistry due to Key basically pining after Chan right from the start and her constant teasing. Whereas them suddenly loving each other this much is not believable at all, which imo killed the whole vibe, made the grand declarations sound hollow and even the kissing/love scene look bland. Very bad script writing, JayKey's "relationship" is better established and has more depth than ChanKey.
All the big love declarations are still kinda weird to me, both are still putting up a facade or sometimes even straight up lying (like Chan about her family being ok with her getting a tattoo). I wish we would have seen some deep conversations about their past & both showing their real me by now bc as it is I'm just not feeling what is supposed to be some great love story.
I'm glad we finally got the answer as to why Jay disappeared but the reason made no sense at all. If you have to decide between ghosting your supposed love of your life or simply talking to her and trying to find a solution together you go for option one?? Chan's confession came out of nowhere and way to early for me too. In the same ep she emphasised the sugar baby relation ship several times and 5 secs before talking to Key she told Jay she didn't believe in love anymore... Obvi there were signs she was also just putting on a mask and cared more about Key than she wanted to admit, but suddenly it's love? I think It's good that the triangle is over now but I was hoping Key and Chan becoming actual girlfriends would be more of a central story/conflict. I hope it won't end in 5 eps of pure family drama... I had high hopes for this and liked the first few eps but it's become rather disappointing unfortunately.
At first I thought they might pull a "Pluto" and reveal at some point that Key actually met Sun in the past 😅 but now that they already met it doesn't look like it... In any case I love Sun, she's sassy, direct, takes no shit and seems to care a lot about Chan, I think she'll captain the ChanKey ship 🙂↕️
This series is the most enjoyable GL series I’ve watched this year. Maybe it’s because it’s fantasy? I’ve…
Would love to hear your thoughts on the plot holes! Bc I've seen several ppl mention them but never with a concrete example. imo the series was pretty much straightforward and not overly complex. Maybe some things weren't very much believable for some ppl but I think we got explanations for pretty much everything? (Agree with the rest tho, the moral posturing is incredibly annoying and it's my fav GL of 2026 along with Hometown Romance)
I applaud them for this bold move even tho I can't stop crying 😭
We gotta ask memindy to pay for it 😭😭 First the fake shutdown, then Ai's goodbye video and then the real one, I need at least 500 sessions 😭😭😭 Ohhh I love queendom too, I feel like i'm very picky with GL but that's one of my favs!! Runaway is one of the few I haven't seen bc I'm scared of horror 😭

I wouldn't really call it doomed, I mean they had 45 years together but it was sooo tough to watch but at the same time it made the ending for me so much better and elevated their love so much 😭😭😭 Wish I could crash out on twitter too, I'm in the wrong bubble for that, maybe I need a 2nd account 😭😭 I am VERY excited for Moonshadow (US is my fav of all time) but I'm definitely not in the right headspace to start that now, I need 3-365 business days to calm down first 😭😭
I agree, I also loved the theories but at the same time I thought making it about time travel would have been…
Honestly yes. I don't think remembering a face as beautiful as Irene's years later is unrealistic, especially considering Gen's profession, it's certainly something that comes very natural to her. And it was made clear that she felt drawn to Irene immediately even if she couldn't remember her later, her subconscious did.
