But I was thinking that JH’s mysterious female caller could be the one who will bring him down and directly disable him from winning any paternal rights to Haneul. I’ve just watched the subbed episode and I’m trying to digest the part where Jerk JH managed to get a piece of paper ... was it a declaration or certification that Haneul is his daughter from the Family Registration Office (something like that).
Could it be that nothing is confirmed at this juncture as the authorities need to investigate like contacting the child’s mother before giving him a confirmed answer?
As far as I know, as long as the couple is registered, then Haneul automatically becomes TK’s daughter. But TK said he will wait for a year before adopting Haneul. As if JH won’t do anything in the meantime. It still makes no sense to me that a bachelor like JH wants to keep Haneul & YD. He did not even do a DNA test on Haneul and YD has made it very clear that she detests him and won’t ever live with him. Writer!
Although the apology scene with TK and Grandma was brief, I found it very touching and sincere. Ahn Jae Hyun was good as his face softened for the first time when talking to Grandma. The actress who plays Grandma was also very good with decades of experience. She actually made me cry too. I have always felt that we should not make an elderly person cry because he or she does not have many more years left to live so they ought not to live in sorrow or guilt.
I am sure episode 42 will be more exciting when TK’s stepfather steps in and confront JH. I really want to see the removal of SJ from NX Group but it might not happen anytime soon.

Totally agree with you! I really dislike it if TK & JH were related by blood in any way or form. The ending cannot possibly be a happy one. Then YD would have slept with both half or stepbrothers...I mean after YD & TK consummated their marriage. At this juncture, I am assuming YD did sleep with JH.
