Multiple feelings on this one tbh, the plot, started of exciting but grew more frustrating by the ep. Also grew to dislike most the characters by the end, they became so unlikeable even Akiyama, he was so indecisive wtf (even though Machida Keita is hella attractive lol). Sticking with Rui at the end and not even making her take responsibility for the crap she did just made me dislike his character.
Ngl I was kinda happy when I thought Rui almost died, disliked her character so much. She didn't even redeem herself for the shit she did. By the end I was hoping everyone went their separate ways. I don't think they should've met at the end and Sayaka should've moved on with Dori's character, I'm just gonna imagine that happened lol. I really liked Shinkawa Yua as FL and hope she gets more ML roles.
Ngl I was more interested in what outfits SYJ was gonna wear, some of her outfits were beautiful.
Overall a decent drama, it does get a bit draggy imo but the acting, the cast and the style was great. Liked the end travel montage, thought that was a nice touch to end the drama.
Part of me thinks I should wait for it to finish airing so I can binge it, can't take the cliffhangers. Really like where it's headed though and it keeps you on edge, hope it stays like this.
I still can't believe it, I first saw him Koizora and I loved him in BM it's one of my faves. I've been following his dramas for 12yrs, such a shock and great loss It's going to be hard finishing the dramas I haven't seen yet. Bullying, depression and mental health is horrible and needs to be taken more seriously. I wish he had gotten the help and support he needed. Rest in peace Haruma, you were a great talent and will be remembered. Thanks for the article, it's a great tribute.
This would've been better as 10 ep imo. The main leads did have chemistry and I like the cast choice, esp Jun as Momo. Though the end felt so rushed with the confession especially it being like the last 10 mins. I really disliked the secondary characters and their story, did not care. I'd say give it a watch, still prefer the orig version but I like this Momo too.
I am really confused if I should watch it... can someone tell me what it was like without spoilers?
Defo not your average Kdrama, esp if they follow what they suggest to the audience, idk if that was helpful lol. It's a mystery crime thriller that makes you think and so far the plot is intriguing. I think it's worth watching the first ep cause you'll know if you want to keep watching or not.
Didn't hate or love it but it's defo a forgettable drama imo. The FL character is lacking, you could replace her with a plank of wood and it wouldn't make a difference. She hardly does anything and is a total pushover. There's no growth or development, this is mostly just fan service tease at times. Ngl I just kept watching for Dori lol
This is such a shock, have been watching him since Koizora and I loved him in BM. Such sad news, he was definitely one of my fave J actors. RIP Haruma, I still can't believe it :'(
I love Outlander and that seems like a pretty good cast choice minus Jamie, kinda hard to think of someone that could do that role justice. Trying to decide who would be a good cast choice for John Grey. Tbh I don't think a Kdrama outlander would ever work, they would have to tone it down a lot. I doubt they would ever attempt an adaptation, maybe something similar? Either way it would be interesting to see.
Really enjoyed this one, the acting, the cast, character development etc, overall just a great drama to watch. My only nitpick is the part with Kaji being beat up and left in a trunk for few days, the amount he was bleeding it just felt unrealistic he would have survived.
I love both but I don't think B99 would work as a kdrama, though it would be interesting. Out of all of them I'd say your choice for Jake is perfect lol

I really hope there is a season 2

Definitely more than I expected it to be.
