Is this like the manga? Does it follow it pretty accurately?
I watched the first ep and I know what you mean, plus he seemed really emotionless to me, I didn't get that impression in the manga. It's ok so far but I still need to get used to the chars, I kinda feel like the cast is not well suited atm but might change my mind later. I don't remember him locking her up straight away in the manga tho, which was weird. :/
Love the Anime, I think the drama did it justice. I wasn't sure if Kanata would suit Akagi, but he surprised me, he did a really good job. Love the ending song too =)
I loved the cast and the characters especially Chika. Acting was great and it will make you cry and laugh and rage too. I'm going to miss the cast the most though.
Woah what an amazing first ep! I love the main leads, they have good chemistry and they're so cute together, it's nice to see some romance for once. I can't wait for more, looks like it's going to be my fave this season. =)
Everyone has a burden, a secret and every family has it's fair share of problems. The drama was great at depicting the different issues everyone can go through and especially how we try to reach an idealistic expectation for ourselves or even our family members. Anyone is capable of anything and the emotional pressures set by society can have a great impact. There will be a theme or a situation you can relate to like bullying, appearances etc. I liked the realism, it didn't have any long speeches either which was nice. I also loved the ending song it fit so well and I can't fault the acting. Overall an amazing drama and a must watch =)
Wow ep9 was really sad, I can't understand parent's who would try to kill their kids even in desperation. I find…
Yes and no lol. I don't think the reason for the mom to hate her was enough and I completely agree with you, it felt like something out of an anime haha. I also felt the reason was a stupid one, like if she knew her husband was cheating why didn't she deal with him straight out? it seemed like he was scared of her cause he never helped Momoko, like that time when they were going to the park. The mothers char felt contradictory imo cause I felt like she would've always been the controlling type. Yep she even ran away and the dad did shit all to find her or anything. I've never been in that situation but if that was me I wouldn't be able to forgive the father at all. A sorry doesn't just fix everything, especially years of emotional and physical abuse. Even the brother being nice all of a sudden was weird. Anyways even if the reason was lacking substance I still really enjoyed it. I just loved the cast and I really looked forward to a new ep. Honestly I could nitpick more but I don't want to write an essay lol XD
Decided to watch it because look at that perfect casting and it turned out to be a really great drama. It can be emotional and make you think a lot (well for me anyways), personally I like when dramas do that. I was so proud of her in the end, especially when she broke free from her mother and though I know never to get my hopes up with romances in Jdramas, I kinda wished there was some in here. =)
Love the concept and leads too =)
