Wen Yue really is a great sister-in-law and a good wife but she definitely doesn't make the best of sisters. I'd really hate to be her sister because you won't even know how you died with such an irresponsible elder sister!

This is sooooo good. It's been a while since I've encountered a drama that's good all through with unquestionable characters.

Ok I'm really curious, so how did it go?

It's more like 'lovers to enemies to lovers', it's mostly about hatred borne out of love, it's really heavy at the onset (the abuse was too much' but I wanted to see where it's all going to end and I wasn't disappointed. She paid back everything and got back at everyone, overalls it's really good. It's romance all through but not the sweet mellow type

It was a happy ending, no MC death

I don't think it's bad at all, at the earlier stages it was all red flags and pretty much sadomasochistic (a genre I personally dislike) but I love the FL vengeful nature and the fact that she got back at them all before any issue of forgiveness comes up plus the acting of the leads is superb. Beside I think the FL is somewhat masochist, so overall I just look at it as 'not bad, not bad at all' especially if you compare it with similar dramas in the same niche.

I haven't watched most of them but I really enjoyed "Fortune Writer", the complex fight with her fate was intriguing. "Enslaved by Love" was really good too even though it started all wrong, it was made better when she began to repay all the insults she received back

I actually don't like sadomasochistic love but this one is the best, i love the FL, you hit her once, she hits you back twice as hard. Even though it seems she been abused, she just bids her time and wait for when she can strick you back harder, in such a way that one can never recover but the ending does seems abrupt

Totally agree. The first part was totally my favorite, but as the serious stuffs began, a lot of cliche started springing up, I couldn't help but roll my eyes several times and the fight scenes were not really interesting. I mean sure their world itself is not logical but couldn't they give him at least a decade before he's reborn?!

Can't argue with that, he'd made promises he couldn't keep. But I guess the main reason I settled for him over the others was the way they introduced them in season 1, he was the only character who never deliberately hurt or punished her for whatever reason; I'm not really all that into abusive/sadistic love, in fact, my opinion on XL only got better in season 2

He definitely will, in the original novel, it was CX who ordered his death but he still forgave him without asking for any explanation. Honestly he's too kind to the point of been lame but after thinking about all the pros and cons of the other characters, I still think he's the best when you're talking about someone to spend eternity with. Just make up for whatever he's lacking in decisiveness by getting the job done on his behalf. It wasn't entirely his fault they didn't end up together earlier, everyone knows just how extremely kind-hearted he is yet his girlfriend didn't do anything to remedy the situation, she just left him to handle everything when she knows fully how indecisive he is.

Can't argue with that😂. But I'm still the little fox lady, I won't want a man who will rather die tragically than spend the rest of his life with me. Although I respect your man and even gushed when I first saw him in season 1, still pro Jing

He got his happy ending. He always said the best thing for a general is dying on the battlefield

But I think it's a great drama overall, really unpredictable and the relationship between the FL and the three guys is something I've never seen before

If it's a couple of good kiss scenes you're waiting for then sorry, nothing of that sort, they were just lovey dovey a few times, when I said 'intense', I was referring to the heartbreaking moments rather than the sweet ones (those were really very few). Regarding getting a good amount of scene time if you're talking about TJ and XY then nah, but if you're talking about XY vs TS/CX/XL then yes there's a lot when they're all combined

I think the romance here was more intense that in the first season, I couldn't believe someone like the FL can go that crazy for love

Everyone got what they really really wanted. Watch it, they're a lot of action packed scenes

Chillax the author said they all got what they really wanted in life and I agree😂 but Jing really cried a lot, I need to see that guy in a badass movie before I mentally equate him to crybaby 😂🤣
