Actually in real life, I'll also choose Jing over the other leads. Although I really like the others especially XL, which woman wouldn't want a man that will put her above everything else? Although if I were Xaoyoa, I'd pick him but I'll also do a lot of things he's too kind-hearted to do like getting rid of his brother and fiancee before they cause me future problems. It was precisely his kind heart and lack of ambition that made her choose him above others, for him, she's his only ambition. He's the kind of character that's always support and never gets the FL, maybe that's why it harder to accept they ended up together.

Her character appeared at the very first episode, I'm in episode 10 and her characters keeps appearing.

She does loves XL, infact what makes her unique is her ability to deeply love 3 guys at the same time in different capacity, she could have easily spent the rest of her life with any of them, I think she choose Jing because he's the only one willing to give up anything and everything for her.

🤣 I won't be surprised either. The dude sleeps through most of the important things but honestly only a personality like his can cater to her selfish needs. But then again he seems to be the most cunning of all, after all he's a fox.

The ending can be taken as it is but according to the original novel, that's just the first part, the season 2 seems like the conclusion. I couldn't wait for the season 2 so I found the novel to read and I'm not disappointed at all. It's both a great read and a great watch. I highly recommend.

I think his role in Empress Ki was really cute, he became one of my favorite actors but seeing him in other roles that are almost opposite that is what makes him one of the very best actors. His ability to portray different characters so well is highly commendable
