Honestly, I’m really going to miss Blue Lips. Low budget or not, it delivered way more than I ever expected. The finale left things feeling unfinished, but I’m holding out hope for a season two!
Lu Qing, despite being engaged to a woman, recreated that apartment not out of love, but to create an illusion…
Here is how I saw it...when he realized that LQ just outsourced the whole setup proved it was never about love or nostalgia, but a cold, staged space meant for control. The minute the heart was gone, the whole illusion of home fell apart.
What an ending for Episode 9! Fanfan hit his absolute limit after realizing his parents will always treat him as the default sacrifice for his brother, his "wife" keeps him around just to look down on him, and Lu Qing, despite being engaged to a woman, recreated that apartment not out of love, but to create an illusion for Fanfan to be caught in. The nerve!!!
Something felt off when Fanfan initiated the intimacy scenes, but his ultimate goal blew me away. To me, Fanfan exposing their relationship is his way to finally break free from everyone.
I'll be so disappointed if the writers turn him back into a doormat next week, but for now? Well done, Fanfan, well done! The little kitten has finally grown claws!
Big Jane really said 'Rule #1: Don't be too emotional' and then proceeded to experience every single emotion known to man for the rest of the episode. The jealousy! The tears! The way he looks at him! I can't breathe.
This show keeps getting better every week! I was expecting Miku to play the jelousy card, but seeing a confused kid needing someone to talk to was so unexpected. I felt like Ichiro being more mature, was able to say exactly what Miku needed to hear. I just adore the message that love looks different for everyone.
As for our couple, I just love those little moments when we see Kei and Ichiro fall deeper in love. Can't wait for the next episode!
This show is really pulling on my heartstrings! I came in expecting nothing and now I'm feeling everything. Not sure why the ratings are so low, but I seriously hope more people give it a watch.
This drama was totally my cup of tea! My only wish is that we got to see more of the side characters at the end, especially Prince Lie, the ninth prince. I was super interested in his storyline and really wanted to see how it played out for him.
I’ll admit I was skeptical at first, but Teng Mo and Wu Shixian’s dynamic actually won me over. Of course, we have the usual messy miscommunication phase first, but I’m just waiting for the moment they finally get their act together and support each other.
