The scene when Gene confronts Sib is so frustrating. Sib said he'd had his reasons for not revealing his identity multiple times, but instead of saying what they were, they just stared at each other....while I was yelling "WHAT ARE THEY? SPEAK!!!" at my screen. I thought an actor and a writer would be the last people on earth who would be at a loss for words.
I understand Gene is hangry, but Sib should have expected that his real identity would have been revealed when Gene said he was going home. Frustrating episode, I just hope that when Sib finally speaks, we will get a good, solid explanation.

I'm with you. For some reason Sib and Gene's storyline is just ok for me. I cant pinpoint why though...something is just missing. Aey stole the show for me. At the beginning I found his pushiness annoying, but now I just want to give that kid a hug. That dinner with his parents was brutal and dont get me started on the sister!!! Lets hope they keep developing the characters and making it interesting. If they base the show on the MC being cute....then I'm out
Loved Zi O from the beginning. He went through alot, but there was never a doubt in my mind that he loved Gu Reum. All his actions and decisions were to protect the ones he loved.
On the other hand, Gu Reum continued to prioritize her obsession of finding her parents killer over her young family. Totally frustrating and dissapointing. Still, I would watch a season 2 just to see Zi O and his daughter reunite.

I totally understand what you mean about the comedy. I found it over the top and distracting. Crossing my fingers they can make it all work.
