Comeback? He'll be irrelevant after his sentence, that's how korea works.
That's not the whole world. If and when he gets work, it will be viewed because he is a great actor. I think Netflix can look past marijuana use. Its not the end of the world for him. He didn't hurt anyone.. I worry that he will be able to sleep in prison.
This series was my first intro into Kdramas in 2005. From the first episode, it is not to be taken literally. It is funny. Even the serious stuff. Today i read the headline in The Korea Herald "K-drama remakes aim to cater to streaming viewers " I immediately thought of My Lovely Sam Soon. AND THERE it WAS!!! It's like someone read my mind. Use but modernize and revise the music. SHorter episodes and viola! we have a revised classic Kdrama. I look forward to it! This time we will see Sam Soon as a confident woman taking on what life throws her. Korean has made a lot of changes in 20 years.
The best actors are very fragile beings. Its a powerful attribute to have and one that is very hard to live with. They take seriously any compliment and criticism. Ju Ji Hoon is exceptional. I hope he has the love and support he needs in his life.
does anyone else find the music is louder than the actors voices? AT times it was totally unnecessary. I liked the music and love the story. But i have to watch it and completely rely on the subtitles.
What does Goblin, It's Ok to Not be OK, Descendants of the Sun, Arthdale, Crash Landing on You, My Mister, and My Love From the Star have in common? I started them all and stopped watching somewhere in the 1st or 2nd episode. I went back to them and kicked myself for not giving them a chance. THEY are all GREAT KDRAMAS. You would recommend them to everyone. I started Queen of Tears and just didnt watch it closely enough. Until i gave it another whirl. and I have finished and missed it so much that i restarted it. When you watch something with subtitles you miss so much visually and the pace of it. So rewatching value is a must for me. If I want to rewatch, Its really good
I am still on that stupid fence with W, I'm sure the days will come when i give it a chance and wish i had seen it sooner.
WOw. There was a Big difference between the prosecutors treatment of Yoo Ah In and Lee Sun Kyun. The former is treated like a leper. And the latter was tormented until he commited suicide.
Sad that she had to marry young when she hadn't solidified her stance in the industry. Hope the director didn't…
I think that if you look at her extensive years of work in the industry you will see that marriage will not be an issue for her career. Luckily for her, she is not up on some pedestal to be worshiped and prevented from having a personal love life.
