so? this drama is a 10/10
You’re free to dislike AI, but calling every AI-assisted creator lazy is just ignorance. I spend hundreds of hours writing, editing, designing scenes, making revisions, doing sound, and putting visual chapters together. And going to school and learning how to animate would takes years and money I don’t have. I come from a poor background and could never afford college. I had to take out a loan from my bank to self-publish after being rejected from publishing houses for years. There’s nothing lazy about it. And as for it not being real art, if a person uses a saxophone, is it not real music? They used an instrument to make the sounds, but the notes, the phrases, those are all human choices. Ai is like the saxophone. It’s useless without the human artist behind it to create beautiful music, beautiful art.

AI has environmental impacts that need to be managed, but it’s not currently in the same category as fossil fuels or industrial agriculture in terms of total global harm. So if you’re gonna base any part of your argument on the environment then you must be a vegetarian who doesn’t drive. Look man, good luck with your job. Hope it works out. Hate to see people lose out on the ai revolution cuz it has so much to offer.

I’m a writer, one of the most affected jobs by Ai. The difference is, I’m not afraid of it. I trust in my own gift and my unique talent and know that that is truly irreplaceable. Before Ai, I
spent 15 years trying to get people to read my stories and they never did. After I used Ai to make my stories visual, I now have thousands of readers. Ai democratized music and film and stories. You no longer need to be accepted by a talent agency or publishing house to have your dreams and talents shown to the world. You can make a movie, a song, a script, anything. That kind of creative freedom is truly priceless. And if anyone is so worried about the planet, I assume you also don’t wear clothes bought from stores, or eat meat, or drink coffee, all industries that are killing our planet. If you do, then it seems a bit like the pot calling the kettle black.

The horse and carriage industry disappeared overnight when cars were invented. Times change. Adapt or get left behind.
