On Unintentional Love Story Apr 15, 2023
SLIGHT SPOILERS AHEAD ♣ _ ♣

I'm on episode 7 so far but is it just me or does anyone else find Yoon Tae Joon's behaviour creepy at times? I get the vibes they're going for, but irl that would be a huge red flag. He showed up at Won Young's work, forced him to get in the car when he said he didn't want a ride, got mad at him for letting his phone die, showed up at the dinner he was having with that chick, and showed up at the library when he was with a friend. Those are just a few examples. Definitely cray cray vibes.

I had a bad feeling at the beginning of episode 6 that this show was going to cause me trauma... I need to back out emotionally now while I still have a chance -_-

Title The Eighth Sense Spoiler
Most of us probably already completed that. Unintentional love story is the only ongoing show alongside the eighth…
I saw that in the comments about people not liking last 2 eps of A Shoulder to Cry On. I thought they were very good just a change in vibes. We were so used to them being in High School the whole time. I thought that I didn’t like it at first, but after the very last episode I gained an appreciation for it. Probably would have been better without the time jumps, but it’s still very good. I’m just glad it wasn’t a tragic ending. I’m gonna be watching unintentional love story next. Hope I like it :)

This series is so precious. It must be protected at all costs! I'm soooooo glad I gave this a go. It's my favourite BL that I've seen so far. Mostly because it caught me off guard by being so tender yet engaging. I thought I was going to skip through a lot of it, but didn't skip through any! Jo Tae really grew on me and ended up being my favourite.

SPOILER ALERT---

My only beef with this series is the lack of intimacy. But I'm so used to Korean BL's at this point I kind of expected it. Unfortunately, we don't get a kiss in this one. They're in a full-on romantic relationship, but alas the writers shied away from giving us onscreen smooches. I usually never watch something that doesn't have at least one smooch because it's too frustrating, but I didn't mind it with this one for some reason.

Also, a lot of people didn't like the last two episodes but I thought they were perfectly fine? It was a change of tone, definitely, but I didn't hate it. On the contrary, I thought it was quite fitting and endearing :)

For those of you needing something to keep you going while waiting for new episodes of this to come out, try A Shoulder to Cry On. I was having a hard time finding another drama to watch that I was willing to get invested in because I'm so in love with the main characters in this one.

Title Method Spoiler
Here are my two cents:I think that they were both method acting but that neither one knew how to separate themselves…
I think Young Woo is a manipulative psychopath who is bored with life and decided from almost the very beginning to immerse himself in the role of Singer and prove to Jae Ha that he is a better actor even though he had less experience. I think everything he did was intentional and acting. He never loved Jae Ha, it was all for pretend; even when Jae Ha pulled away at the press conference, I think he was faking his devastation there, too. That's why at the end he said he played the perfect Singer. His whole modus operandi was to outperform Jae Ha in the world of method acting. And Young Woo said Jae Ha was 'just Walter' because Jae Ha had possibly developed actual feelings for Young Woo. I think Young Woo was in control the whole entire time, even when he was hanging himself at the end lol. That's how nuts he is. That's how dedicated he was to proving he was the best method actor. He'll move on in life with no problem. It's Jae Ha who'll be messed up for a while. Just my interpretation.

IDK if I would feel comfortable watching this movie. I don't like the big age gap between the actors. :/c
It doesn't feel uncomfortable at all. Tbh, I didn't even notice it. This film wouldn't work any other way. Jae Ha has to be older and wiser while Young Woo has to be bratty and naive. It makes it that much sweeter when Young Woo outsmarts him in the end.

happy ending?
Like, on a surface level NO because Young Woo and Jae Ha don't end up together. But on a deep twisted level YES because Young Woo out-acted Jae Ha, which I think was his whole goal.

I'm really enjoying this so far. I wish they'd spend more time in the surf club together, but we'll probably see more of that.

It's basically as the synopsis says. A guy kidnaps a prostitute and takes her to this remote house in the middle…
It’s on YouTube now with English subs here; https://youtu.be/D3SVp7COS0Y

For some reason this really worked. It should have been stupid and laughable, but it was actually really funny and entertaining. Great acting and cast. CGI is obviously questionable af but it complimented the film's quirkiness perfectly. This is one of those 'It's so bad it's good' films. I definitely recommend.

This was a good watch. Had some eye candy and funny moments which is all a girl can ask for. I just have to say that I wish Ji Shin (the villain) had been given a different variety of scenes rather than seeing him in a cloak doing voodoo all the time. That got a bit boring tbh.

The martial arts fight scenes were well choreographed, but this was a huge miss for me. The acting from the main villain dude who owned the hospital was just horrible and laughable. It took me out of the movie every time he was on screen. If you’re a fan of Vincent Zhao, you might enjoy this. Everything else was just bad…

I didn't understand the ending is he staying with them or notDid his half-brother's father adopt him and is that…
So I just rewatched the ending and now I don’t know what to think lol. The scene where he’s crying alone on the field makes me think he ended up in foster care and the dad just came to watch the game??? If anyone knows for sure how this ended let me know! I don’t even think having subs would make that ending more clear though. It seems like one of those ambiguous endings. Grr.

It was hard for me to understand, too, but I was really invested in the kid ending up with that dude. From my best interpretation, I think the guy was giving him up/away at the end but then the kid had that break down and said “let me stay with you”. This might have reached the dude’s heart and he kept the kid is what I think.

I have no idea about the mom of the little girl though.
