The show is here with Chinese subs; https://www.olevod.com/index.php/vod/detail/id/37752.html It's all in Chinese, but you can scroll down and see all 12 episodes. Or to get you started if you have trouble navigating that page, you can go here https://www.olevod.com/index.php/vod/play/id/37752/sid/1/nid/1.html for episode 1, then click next and it will take you to next episode. I'm giving these links because Dramacool has the series but it is missing some episodes and the quality isn't as great. If English subs ever come out let me know please. I'd love to watch with subs. I've been using google translate on my iphone to automatically translate certain conversations hahaha. It's been a nightmare.
Anyways, all that aside, this show is freaking awesome. I can only imagine how much better it is going to be when it gets subbed one day. The cinematography, acting, and production value are all just incredible. Definitely watch this. The story and plot don't disappoint either. A lot of it was predictable, but it was such great value and acting I enjoyed it all thoroughly.
Btw, did you know Aaron Yan is 37 years old!?!? I thought he was 20 years old max! The hell! He’s the same age as Jack Yao. My mind can’t wrap itself around this info…
I’m so frustrated with the injustice in Story 4 the military story. Grrr! I have yet to finish the final episode but I hate when innocent people are screwed over!
This was a great adaption but I feel like the original film 'The Demon (1978)' was much more impactful and terrifying. Planet earth is a scary place yo...
Oh my ever loving god, I was not prepared for this. What in the actual tits of hell did I just watch??? How can the father and step-mother be so evil!?!?! I was stressed AF watching this. OH LAWD someone hold my weave cuz I'm about to jump through the screen and mess a b**ch UP!
What makes this so horrifying is that it's totally realistic. SO SO EVIL. The Demon is the perfect title. This is literally one of the scariest movies I have ever watched. Scarier than any horror film out there. Wow.... just wow...
I guess a lot of people here simply aren't much interested in this genre (I noticed that darker dramas usually…
Yeah, I noticed all the fluffy happy dramas that I’m not interested in all have super high ratings, but darker stuff like this have low ratings. It’s just preference, I guess. But the more I think about it, the more I realize just how good and creative this show was. The only bad thing about this was that sometimes the scenes dragged on for too long. I’m crossing my fingers hoping they’ll make a second season!
Son Hwan witnessed Wol Woo being molested through the window, but didn't see the perps face. When he tried to…
I don’t know if they meant for it to have a more specific meaning, but for me it just highlighted the hypocrisy of religion. It added an extra layer of hopelessness and helplessness to All the bad things happening in the film. Like, where is God? Wol Woo was being r**pd under the eye of the giant Red cross by a man who was supposed to help and protect him but who took advantage of him instead. But even saying that, I’m not totally convinced I’ve understood the religious symbolism of the Red Cross yet. It felt eerie whenever I saw it, though. Such horrible things were happening under such a holy symbol.
This might be reading too much into it, but maybe the director wanted to send the message that God sees everything? Because we get the vibe that karma is definitely coming for the counsellor due to the psycho look the prisoner gave him at the end.
Or the director just wanted the religious tone added to the film because it makes what the counsellor was doing that much more sinister.
