I liked this but it felt like the writers threw in too many elements. Like, they shifted the focus of the story at least three times so I couldn't get invested into any one part. Was it a work drama? was it a redemption love story? was it a terminal illness tragedy? Also, they didn't really delve into the plot with Xie Yu's new girlfriend as much as they could and should have. They just kind of threw her in there and then threw her back out lol. This was definitely a writing issue because everything else was great. I wish they had just kept the original focus of the story, which was He Mann and Xie Yu's relationship. I'd still recommend it, though.
Excellent movie!! It was definitely a slow burn but it didn't drag at all. This takes such an interesting perspective…
After rewatching the ending, I think he would have answered that he'd prefer to live in a world where the incident didn't happen. As much as he loves Kanako, he wants nothing more than to make things up to her.
RIP Miura Haruma. I watched this because I had heard about his passing randomly somewhere and had never seen any…
So was it Ruo Lan or Ru Mei omg??? Going back to the church and exchanging the watch for the rosary isn't exactly proof because either Ruo Lan or Ru Mei could have done that. She was acting a lot like Ruo Lan, though. And I thought it was Ruo Lan who fell off the swing not Ru Mei? So the scar on the head therefore means it must be Ruo Lan?? The only thing s that made me think it might be Ru Mei was that she didn't remember the dress, that she couldn't swim, and that she didn't remember going to the premier of her own movie. I think it is Ruo Lan mostly because of her personality. The watch being the right time at the very end is supposed to be some sort of clue, I'm sure, but I don't have the brains to figure it out. I'm so confused -_-
RIP Miura Haruma. I watched this because I had heard about his passing randomly somewhere and had never seen any of his work so I thought I'd check something of his out. I'm almost sad I did because he was so beautiful with so much talent... He left us way too soon ಥ_ಥ As for the film itself, it was beautiful and interesting. A little slow paced at first, but picked up as it went on.
It is Nowhere, as in no place. Nowhere is one word meaning not in or to any place; not anywhere. It is a compound noun made from the words No and Where. When two words are used together to yield a new meaning, it creates a compound word and thus an entirely new word.
I was left confused a lot of the time watching this. It probably didn't help that I skipped some scenes lol, but I think it was more an editing/writing issue. And the LGBQT+ tag is misleading because this definitely isn't themed like that. There's only a reveal about it in the last episode unless I'm mistaken. Just a heads up in case anyone was going to watch it for that tag. I watched this for Joseph Chang so it wasn't a disappointment. If it weren't for him, this definitely wouldn't be a show I'd watch. It was entertaining and interesting for the most part.
Very lovely series. I watched most of it without skipping which says a lot because I skip through everything, even short films. The character's stories were so engaging to watch unfold. I loved Little Jade! He was so cute and sassy. The whole show was really well made and acted.
I guess I shouldn't have skip-watched this because it was sure as hell hard to follow with the same actor playing Pascal and the antique shop owner. Besides that, it was a decent enough film.
Not gonna talk about the movie other than they showed alot of skin! Dayum. Are there any more of such korean movies?…
Uhmm in terms of Korean films that are LGBTQ+ and have the whole love triangle/impossible love thing going on try these; A Frozen Flower, No Regret (2006), Night Flight.
Other Asian films with same/similar vibes are A Round Trip To Love Part 1 and 2, Bishonen (1998), Taboo (1999), Double Mints (2017), The Cornered Mouse Dreams of Cheese, Your Name Engraved Herin.
I also watched it without subs.. but I think it would be more entertaining to watch it with subs.. and maybe get…
Yeah, I think when subtitles come out I’ll go back over a few scenes for curiosity sake. If this had been a remake of something then I would think more of it. If it’s an original work, however, the writers could have at least thrown in the mom (I think that older deaf lady was the mom?) getting killed or something. Anything!!
The story isn't very original and is quite predictable. It's your typical cat and mouse where the mouse always wins. There are soooo many movies out there like this where a killer chases around a chick who proves to be tough as nails. She manages to evade him and he never really even tries to kill her despite being given plenty of opportunities to. You just know from the start that the FL is going to make it out alive and the bad guy is going to get taken down. Any time the killer was chasing the FL it didn't feel suspenseful because you know she's going to just escape him again. That being said, Wi Ha Joon is nice eye candy so the film wasn't a total miss. Also, I watched this without subtitles but I don't think they would have made much of a difference.
The quality is a potato but it gets the job done.
