Couldn't agree more. Age gap really doesn't bother me, tbh. What bothers me is that he's still a kid while she's in her 20s. It would've been fine with me if he was at least over 18

Im not against CP and Haena. Kings have a habit of marrying girls who haven’t even bled yet, so why is it an…
Age gap isn't the problem here. If he's 18, 19, or 20, and she's like 28, 29, or 30, it wouldn't be weird at all. What's weird is that he's a kid and doesn't even look 15, while Ha Na looks much more mature than him, and she's in her 20s. I didn't even think about any 'deed' or what their married life would be like, but still, I feel really uncomfortable seeing them as a couple. Even the thought of them as a couple really creeps me out.

Wait, how am I supposed to be 'cool' with the crown prince vs Hana's story?I might've been a tad okay if the crown prince was like 17 or 18, but nah, it's still not okay. But that would have made much more sense than whatever nonsense is going on right now. I can't believe they even thought of pairing both of them when he's practically a kid. It's just uncomfortable and kinda creepy. From the moment the crown prince met Ha Na, I kinda sensed this was coming, but I was in denial until the end 'cause I just can't get behind that. They could've made it much more decent and a good love line if they had gotten a much older crown prince for that role. What a waste of a potential love line. Not only did they waste it, they ruined it in the weirdest way possible. Can't wrap my head around it. I loved and still love this series. Enjoy all the love lines, except for the Ha Na-crown prince one. I really wish they would change the direction of that, at least now. It's not too late to do that.

I usually drop my drama reviews right after finishing the drama, but this one hit me differently. It took me a while to process because saying goodbye to our trio – Bo Geol, Mok Ha, and Woo Hak – was tough. This drama easily takes the crown for one of the best I've seen this year. Everything was perfect, but I wish we could've gotten at least two more episodes of Mok Ha's journey of becoming a singer. Despite the title being 'Castaway Diva,' we rarely saw her shine on stage. In the first half, she was the backup singer for Ran Joo, and in the latter part, even after being discovered, she didn't make much progress beyond being constantly in the middle of Ran Joo's mess and Ki Ho's family problems. As someone also striving for big goals in life, I would've loved to see more of her chasing her dreams – starting from the small karate stadium to the grand stage. I really missed seeing that part. It would've been great if we could see her and Ki Ho working together towards their dreams. Not seeing any of that felt like such a waste of a great plot, which is why I rated it 9; otherwise, I would've given it a 10. Other than that, I loved every part of it – from the OSTs to the acting. Everything was perfect. I cried a lot while watching it. This is probably the first time I cried that much during a happy ending drama. I'm gonna miss it like crazy from next weekend. 😭❤️

What a great start! I don't know if this will go downhill in the future, but so far, I'm loving it. It deserves much more than an 8.0 rating. The visuals, chemistry, and the story are so good. A hint of mystery with fantasy romance – what more can we ask for? It's a complete package. I noticed some complaints about the acting and the story being boring, but I don't see any problems with the acting so far. I really wonder how those who complain define the word 'boring' because this was anything but boring.
I'm watching almost every ongoing drama, and I've expressed this sentiment in the comment section of many of them, and I'll say it again here: people should seriously stop being too obsessed with the complexity, realistic stories, facts, and logic of dramas. Instead, they should learn how to enjoy them for the story as it is. What I've noticed so far is that the more the story leans towards the happy ending side and the simpler the plot is, the lower the ratings it gets. It's sad how things like complexity and realism matter more to people than enjoying the drama for being a good 'drama' with a good plot, acting, or visuals. If the story is a simple rom-com, it won't get the ratings it deserves, no matter how good the plot is. It's sad because if this trend continues, we may never get simple rom-coms in the future.
I loved the simplicity in Korean dramas; that's why I've loved them for more than a decade. They were pretty simple, comedic, romantic dramas that I could enjoy and have a small break from the reality of life. But now, they are getting more and more complicated, and people love it, which means they're moving further away from the simplicity they used to have. That's why I love dramas like this. I wish people would learn to appreciate dramas like this more. Anyway, this is just my personal opinion. I love this a lot and can't wait to watch the next episode.

weird other kdrama when airing has over 8.0 rating but this only has 8 when the story and visual is good
Tell me about it. I really love it so far. But it only has 8? I really don't understand people's taste these days. So complicated. Don't know what they take into consideration when rating dramas.

I dont think so.. Lets take an example : twinkling watermelon had a greattt story and got high rating it deserves…
Yes. But as far as I remember, out of all the recent dramas, 'Twinkling Watermelon' was the only one that got higher ratings, mostly because of how they wrapped it up. If they'd gone with Yi Chan not going deaf, it might have ended up with lower ratings like other good dramas. The decision to have Yi Chan go deaf seemed to hit a chord with viewers, making it more realistic and boosting its ratings. Nowadays, people seem to care more about the 'reality, logics, and facts' in a drama rather than just enjoying it for what it is, which I don't really get. And what exactly doesn't make sense to you about this drama? People call it a masterpiece for a bunch of reasons. Personally, I haven't found "many things" that don't make sense, and even if there are some head-scratchers here and there, the overall package, from the music to the acting, is top-notch. Sure, dramas can be a bit far from reality sometimes, but that's why we call them 'dramas.' Just because there are a few quirks doesn't mean it's not a masterpiece. Nothing's perfect, right? This drama is fantastic, and it's a shame it didn't get the ratings it deserves, in my opinion. If people could ease up on being too fixated on 'reality, facts, and logic' and just enjoy the drama, maybe it would have scored better ratings.

I remember it had higher ratings at the beginning. I might be wrong though. But my point is, even it hadn't dropped, 8.6 is too low for this masterpiece

Whats green here? MH gave up on the people who supported her to chase dreams under the agency that rejected her…
You're only talking about this drama, and even within it, you only mention a few people. Bo Geol, who spent over a decade looking for Mok Ha and took care of her until the end once he found her. Woo Hak, who also greatly looked after Mok Ha while hiding his feelings for the sake of his brother. Last but not least, their adoptive dad who treated strangers as his own family. If they're not green flags, then who is? And also, there are more great characters in other dramas we've seen in 2023

this year we've got lot of great green flags in kdrama history
True ♥️ Can't even count how many green flags we've had this year. But Yi Chan and Bo Geol are the greenest for me.

Why do all the good ongoing dramas have low ratings? I really love this drama, but the ratings keep dropping every week. Romance dramas rarely get high ratings nowadays. It seems people prefer more complicated plots for their enjoyment. The simpler and more fun the drama, the lower they rate it. It's disappointing..
