Trying my best to watch it only for the ML while avoiding the secondhand embarrassment caused by the FML 😫 I usually don’t even watch dramas where the FML is represented like this, but the ML is so good that I can’t stop myself from watching. I don’t get why there’s a need to embarrass the FML so much… even her actions are embarrassing.
This drama is great, without a doubt. The last few episodes were especially intense and kept me on my toes. But Im really not sure about the 9.1 rating. It's definitely good, but even better shows have lower ratings. Anyway, I hope there will be a season 2 because there were a lot of hints about it in season 1, and I also hope it won’t take forever to release
I really want to start watching this because it looks similar to I'm Into Her. But it says it won’t complete airing until April. so if I start watching now, I'll have to wait months to finish it? I don’t think I'll be able to wait that long
I don’t want to watch the last 5 episodes after seeing all the spoilers ðŸ˜. I was so invested in this drama, mainly because of the ML’s bond with everyone. Knowing that everyone has forgotten him… no thanks. I’d rather wait for Season 2 and see how it goes. I’m already sad without even watching it. I just hope they release Season 2 soon with a better ending
You don't really have to worry about the real Qi An returning and all that, reason is china does not allow transmigration.…
Oh no, anything but this! Even if he has to come back to the real world, I really hope it wouldn’t just be a dream. It’s already sad enough that he has to leave that place. It’s even sadder to think that all those people he loves could be just a dream.
Due to Chinese censorship rules, I believe his return to the real world is inevitable. In my opinion, following…
This tore my heart apart. I didn’t know there was a law for that; I just thought there was a slim possibility of it happening since it never happened in Chinese dramas. Knowing that he will definitely have to return to the real world makes me feel so hopeless. 😠This is why I’m reluctant to watch these kinds of dramas. But the plot was so refreshing that I couldn’t help but watch it. Given the fact that he has to return to the real world, the only possible happy ending would be all of them reuniting in the real world. But I don’t think that will happen either
I really hope the ML stays in this world. I know it's unlikely to end that way, given this is a Chinese drama, but he's bonded so much with the people here that the thought of him leaving everyone behind is really sad. The original Xu Qi An was nothing like the current one—he wasn’t smart or close to his family, so they would be heartbroken if the original one returns. I'm scared to keep watching in case he ends up leaving everyone at the end🥺
When they heard of Xu Qian’s death, they went to look for the elusive and secretive Witcher sect to take revenge…
I saw them going to witcher sect but xi an sent them a message saying hes alive so i wonder why they didnt come back yet..didnt see the trailer for ep 40..thank you for letting me know
Episode 33... I really miss the ML's gang in the Guardians. I wonder if they'll appear again anytime soon—why aren't they mentioning them at all anymore?
Totally unrelated question—does the man who gave the mirror to the Xu Qi An in ep 5 look so much like Zhang Wan Yi (from are you the one and lost you forever) or is it just me? I can’t unsee it. Even their expressions are the same. When Zhang Wan Yi gets older, he’s going to look just like him.
Yes this and love like a galaxy are very similar in slow paced not much happening plot storyline. Therefore both…
I understand it might not be your cup of tea, but there’s so much happening in the storyline that it’s hard to say, 'There’s not much going on.' From amnesia to revenge and deception, it really has it all.
Agree with you. And outside of FL, He Zhen & Shi Xue Ji while having different characters are as strong as FL…
That's true. The character development of the other female characters is also good. And them being perfect together is what made it so interesting to me personally. In Chinese dramas, most of the time, the ML is too good to be true while the FML is very flawed. But that perfect ML ends up choosing her despite her being 'average' or 'below average.' God-like MLs and flawed FMLs are not my cup of tea. Either both need to be flawed and normal, or both need to be perfect together
I started watching this for the younger couple and finished because of them too. I didn’t want to miss a single moment of their story, and I wanted closure – even if that meant imagining the older couple as their real future selves. No offense to the main leads, but having two sets of actors for the younger and older versions didn’t work well in this drama. The younger couple clearly stole the spotlight, and the older versions didn’t resemble them at all.
I’m personally a fan of the ml actor, and I was excited to see him in a romantic role. If I hadn’t seen the younger versions, I probably would have been more impressed by his performance. The older actors did a good job, but I couldn’t stop comparing them to the younger versions, whose chemistry felt incredibly genuine to me.
I wish the age gap had been shortened a little, allowing the actors who played the younger versions to stay on as the older ones. Overall, the story was engaging, and I loved the side couples and their chemistry. My only complaint is the stark difference between the older and younger versions, which made it hard for me to fully enjoy the lead couple’s journey.
I loved this drama up to episode 10. The last two episodes were also fine but not as good as the rest of the drama. There were so many unnecessary scenes in the final episodes. I would've loved to see more of the main couple developing their lives from the ground up (after ML gave up on everything he had), and more of the second lead couple—like how they started dating. Those moments could have easily been included if less screen time had been wasted on unnecessary things, like the ML going to Argan. I hope the second lead actors get their own drama soon because their chemistry is amazing. Overall, it was a good drama, with great actors and I’m glad I gave it a try.
Didn’t Sa Eon’s (ML) mother tell the father that Sa Eon looks a lot like the chairman, while the father doesn’t? Wasn’t she hinting that Sa Eon is the chairman’s real son, and the father isn’t? Even the DNA test between the ML and the father didn’t match... I’m really curious about the meaning of that whole conversation
