Yes XL saved them, so what, he still chose his death. I never said XL’s character should not exist, I think its a very important character. I know XL truly loved XY, but she was not his priority. XY offered to run away together but He refused to drop everything. Yes XY is a broken woman who only desires to meet a guy who will always choose her, despite Jing’s mistake, she chose to trust him fully. XY is an abandoned woman who lacks love, hence to her the most important thing is someone who will offer their all, only Jing was willing to do that.
I also read the novel, don’t mix it with the drama, because there was a major change on who killed Jing. CX never promised her to spare XL, she pleaded for it though. In the end all characters chose their own ending, based on their own choices.

But for XY’s character, love/loyalty is what she desires. Jing knows that and he is the only one who’s willing to give it to her, we are talking about a broken woman who was abandoned by her loved ones. She grew up by herself without love and lots of trust issues, so love/trust is the most important for her character.

WELL SAID. A lot of people feel bad for XL, but he chose that path himself.

I think XL is her soulmate. Jing is her romantic love. Soulmate doesn’t have to be the romantic relationship. I read some people blamed Yang Zi for creating a FL character who is confused/indecisive with her relationships. I agree the novel has many layers that makes it open for discussion, it’s not the typical I only have 1 man above all relationship. I feel bad for Yang Zi, she got blamed for the script/character flaws. I think she did the best she can with what was given to her.

Cang Xuan is XY’s closest relative, she never saw him as a lover. Actually in the novel, Cang Xuan was behind Jing’s death. The show changed it. The title was lost you forever, because even if XY chose to forgive CX, she left with Jing wondering the world with false identities, hence CX could not locate her anymore.
Jing has all the qualities XY is looking for. She wanted a man that will choose her no matter what. Jing is not week, he is just kind hearted to the people he values including his brother, even if he tried to kill him.

Don’t over think, it was just XY’s wishful thinking. XY wanted XL to have a burden free life.

XY always wanted a simple life, she didn’t want power, Jing gave up being a clan leader for XY, because he knows that is what she wants. XY loved Jing because she knew he will always prioritize her. That is also what happened in the novel. Jing ends up with XY

The characters are pretty complicated, since Bai Shuo travels a lot and meets new characters along the way. But basically, the main ML, Tian Qi, a true good ( he is 1 of the 4 true gods) saves Bai Shuo and her sister’s lives, and in exchange promised to return the favor, hence Bai Shuo had the obsession in seeking immortality. The 2nd ML ( Zhong Zhao) is her fiancee/best friend since they were very young, Zhong Zhao and Bai Shuo travel together to seek immortality, and thats how her adventure starts. The story’s main focus is Bai Shuo’s adventure in becoming a god, hence Bailu will definitely have tons of scenes, probably why she doesn’t have off days during shoots and couldn’t finish running man’s last special season.

Pretty engaging, but its auto translate, and it stopped where things are getting pretty exciting. 😞 I hope the author finishes it before the broadcast. I like reading the book before watching the show.

I agree with her, even though Yu Zheng is a loose cannon he definitely has a lot of resources, and he prioritized Bailu over all his other artists, he has quite a lot. As long as Bailu stays with him, he will definitely try his best to protect her, he spent tons and tons of money on her.

Yu Zheng helped her a lot, she probably won’t leave his agency. Bailu has a humble background, with 0 resources and Yu Zheng spent millions on her to be popular. It is said she has top resources over the years thanks to Yu Zheng. Knowing her personality, she won’t leave. She’s very vocal how thankful she is to Yu Zheng and how much she respects him.
He did try to protect her, it just didn’t work out, it got out of hand.

Bailu is about to start her new drama northward which is a big key production . A lot of actors are competing for the role, plus a possible another big key production Police honor 2 after that. So if they will collaborate again, it won’t be soon. Bailu’s schedule are pretty packed. A very famous writer wants her to play the heroine for these 2 big well sought after projects.
