I wondered the same thing and got annoyed and then decided to just turn my brain off and stop asking logical questions. it was absurd lol

it’s definitely a solid 9 for me but it had the potential to be a 10. The first 10 episodes were nearly perfect. This one might have needed 20 episodes to really fully flesh out and finish the story. it’s set up for a potential second season if they want to make one. in any case, highly recommend as one of the best revenge thrillers in recent years.

Not a great sign that through the first 2 episodes I’ve been bored enough to be on my phone scrolling while watching. But I’m not giving up and will power on. Some stories just need time. Hoping it improves and there is some spark or chemistry eventually. The OST is fire though. The theme song is 10/10. Can’t wait for it to drop so I can add it to playlist.

13 and 14 will be only air on Hulu on Wednesday. it’s super lame how late they air the episodes.

Did you not see his eyes flash demon read when he fought the demon chief. it’s the reason she stopped. He wasn’t lying at all he was absolutely correct and warning her about it correctly.

Am I crazy or during the flashback conversation between YEOM and HID on the bench outside the hospital it was revealed that SDJ mom was actually a South Korean NIS agent/asset that YEOM recruited and then essentially co-murdered?
or am I totally confused about that convo. I haven’t rewatched it yet.

yes I confused it with Such a good love which is just released on Tencent YouTube. And in 480p and has horrible subs. This is a TENCENT problem as they uploaded it like this with the incorrect sub timing. it just came to Viki and on Viki it is actually in HD QUALITY with proper sub timing. So while you may tell me I have posted to the wrong page my actual complaint is completely correct and Tencent needs to fix their YouTube Channel upload of the drama which someone did poorly. Now I will go post to the correct page MY BAD where hopefully ignorant a**holes like you don’t exist.

it’s the opposite of grooming. She rejected him until he was 30 years old. People need to grow up and understand that at 30 years old you are a fully formed grown up and dating someone 6 years older is not a big deal. She did nothing wrong at all.

I’ve always been kind of tepid on Park Hung Sik. I liked but not loved him. But HOLY S*** if this isn’t the role of a lifetime and he absolutely killed with this performance. WHAT A PHENOMENAL performance. He’s giving literally everything here, the range of his performance, the passion, heartbreak, revenge, ACTION….. this boy can ACT. im mad this is on Hulu and not Viki or Netflix where more people would appreciate his performance and this masterpiece of a drama. No, it’s not perfect but the first 6 episodes are nearly flawless IMO. The plot starts to get slightly convoluted around episode 10 because of his backstory but it’s still, at least for me, giving me everything I want overall. OST, Cinematography, Casting and Acting performances….. 10/10. Him collecting and answering the phones of all his assassins. LOVE IT lol Yes it’s makjang but it’s high level makjang!

If you like stories about passionate love, betrayal, revenge, a BADASS smart, strong protagonist who has brains and brawn, secrets and ultimately, we hope… redemption.. I strongly recommend this drama.

I don’t understand how this is rated a 7.9

it’s a really clean good rom com with excellent casting and a relatively simple plot. I don’t love the plot twist but that still doesn’t take it down to a 7.9

All of the trauma he went through after fighting the war against the demons has made him ambivalent about life and doing anything to save people. He was a war hero and only received pain and punishment for saving his clan so now he’s put a gate up around himself and suppressed his true nature so much that he simply wanted to not intervene. But he is a deeply good person.

This had an iffy start but has gotten really REALLY good.
