I’m not getting all the people bashing this drama. chemistry between ML’s is fire. good supporting cast. Lots of eye candy. plot is not nearly as bad as some others…. I haven’t had to fast forward once. I’m enjoying 🤷🏻♀️
There's a whole other story outside the romance and the actors were pretty clear about family being an important…
Yeah thanks that’s quite obvious.
the point is people expect at least a bit more interaction with the ML & FL and 10 episodes in there is simply too little. there are LOTS of dramas with an ensemble cast family dramas that know how to balance the various storylines. this one is missing the mark.
PSA: I see some people are bringing their toxic fandom B.S. from Lost You Forever over here. kindly requesting you just DONT. Tan Jianci doesn’t need or want you over here trashing another actor especially one he’s friends with. This show stars ZWY and people can praise his performance without his antis bringing their toxicity from LYF. Thank you 🤗
5 episodes in ….halfway through and literally the only good scene was when she was drunk and tried to seduce the bodyguard. Maybe the press conference scene too when she reveals the mistress and son.
other than that …..literally nothing new or interesting has happened in 5 episodes. Rains character has done almost nothing in 5 episodes! what a freaking waste!
rain is one of my fave actors so I thought this had to be underrated and the criticisms exaggerated but the plot is sooooooo insanely thin here…. and the mother in law is badly cast and annoying AF with her constant loud shrieking voice.
Despite the ups and downs and bumps in the road, I think they pulled it all together in the end and this version wraps up nicely.
The dream sequence gives you the viewer the option for the alternate ending and how badly it could have played out if you want that version, but the producers decided to not completely destroy us all and find an alternate path for us which I’m not mad at tbh.
The confession scene in the poinciana forest is actually incredibly well executed. I didn’t know how they would do it but it played out really poignantly and honestly and not awkward or gross. Just earnest, honest communication finally between CX and XY and the bond is preserved. since I really like CX I prefer this than his decent into evil madness. Using Xinyue to get out of it was definitely clunky and didn’t exactly work well but it wasn’t awful as a plot device. XL’s whole arc was executed beautifully IMO. definitely cried all the tears. Weddinh scene was simple and a happy occasion. Minor complaint that the final scene where he thinks the person is XY and then Anian says anyone could be XY wasn’t done well. most people have forgotten she can change appearance and since they removed the whole plot of her needing to hide from CX’s grip……… the viewers will wonder why would she be changing appearances. Think they could have just left that on the cutting room floor tbh.
All in all I’m satisfied and this will go on the list of drama’s I rewatch once or twice a year.
okay the video spoilers are absolutely out of hand. my goodness. Are people determined to ruin the rest of the viewership? people won’t watch the final episodes if all the main clips are released already to social media. I don’t understand this strategy.
I wanted to binge-watch S2 when it finished airing, but couldn't hold myself back reading comments considering…
You should absolutely still watch it. Don’t let this unhinged comment section ruin it for you. It’s still better than 99% of dramas even with the complaints.
Can someone direct me to the airing schedule?

I will finish it for Rain but it’s painful.
it’s like hot chocolate on a cold day. soothing and smooth as velvet. This voice is better than any voice actor.
